Code Black finished it second season last month, but CBS has still not announced if it will return for another season or not. What do you think? Would you watch a third season of the TV series?
A medical drama, Code Black takes place in a Los Angeles ER plagued by a staggering influx of patients that often outweighs the limited resources available to the devoted doctors and nurses who work there. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Rob Lowe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Harry Ford, Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Boris Kodjoe, and Jillian Murray.
Despite the addition of Rob Lowe to the cast, season two of Code Black dipped in the ratings. The season averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 5.984 million viewers, placing it in the bottom half of CBS‘ 2016-2017 series. For comparison, season one averaged a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.11 million viewers.

I love Code Black. Please keep it. Strong characters and alot better than Greys Anatomy and all the others. Perfect casting.

I LOVE this show! It is SO intense. The writers are amazing! They build so much of the interpersonal and psychological impacts of the job in an urban hospital. It’s not a drama to watch casually. You MUST pay attention to each line to get the subtleties. One of my favorite shows ever! It keeps my attention, while other dramas don’t. “Mama” MUST stay!!!!!
