Doctor Who is currently airing its latest season, and the man in charge dropped a huge wish for his series. He would love to do a crossover with Star Trek. In fact, Steven Moffat said he would “do it in a heartbeat” if he had the chance, according to Digital Spy.
He doesn’t want to crossover Doctor Who with the new Star Trek series coming to CBS in 2017 though. He wants to go old school and have Doctor Who meet up with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. He’s okay with it being the film versions played by Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, but he wants that crossover to happen.
The big question here is – could it ever happen? Would you watch a Doctor Who and Star Trek crossover? Tell us what you think.
I’d love to see one! I’ve Googled about it a lot of times, waiting to see if someone has done a crossover, even on YouTube. There are some OK ones on there, but I’d really like to see a real one on tv. They could even make one in the same way they did the DS9 episode Trials and Tribble-ations, using archive footage from either series to make something new.
I think it would work only if Jean Luc Picard were involved!
That would be awesome!
He’s delusional if he thinks DW has the budge to hire these actors! Maybe as a quick commercial to advertise a new Star Trek movie!
No way there is only one man known only as The Doctor in the star trek universe and he is a hologram and he doesn’t travel in a phone borh.
