What do you think? Are you glad that the Domina TV show has been renewed for a second season on EPIX?
I forgot to mention that I saw the whole series of Rome and this is definitely where Rome ended. Five years after, to be exact. A part of history. Excellent
They better bring that picture back. They just can’t leave it with Gaius sitting on the bed and Tiberius thinking about killing his mother. The title of the last episode was called “Happiness”. Where? What happened with Julia and Lullus? Antigone and Tycho? Agrippa and whoever? Did Julia finally become pregnant? Did Agrippa kill Julia’s mother who was looking for the German slave? a lot questions unanswered.
Pls come back! This has become my favorite show, surpassing the old series “Rome” that was on the History Channel and could boast of Daniel Craig as the centurion before he became James Bond. I need the series to lighten up my studies of ancient Rome. I think the sets and the wardrobes are magnificent, right down to the herculean knot that secures the sashes of their dresses. Even the hairstyles and headdresses are accurate. Even Livia’s polished bronze mirror is authentic.
Daniel Craig wasn’t in Rome it was Kevin Mckidd. They are both blonde and fair haired so I can see why you thought that. Really wanting Domina to come back for a season 2. Its a fascinating part of history.

This show deviates a bit from actual history, but it’s so well acted and beautifully written that is a pleasure to watch. Love the strong women characters.
