The Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot has been a big ratings problem for ABC for quite awhile. Show after show has been cancelled. Will their new Forever series change that trend? Will it be renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/8 update: ABC has cancelled Forever after one season. Details here.
Final season averages: 1.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.93 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
In Germany, it has been aired by forever just the last episode . You must absolutely continue. there are so many who love this show as I did.
Forever was my favorite show. I am more than SICK & TIRED of stupid reality shows. What is wrong with a fantasy show for a change? Bring it BACK !
I completely AGREE!!
Alana that played detective Jo is now on Scorpion’s 2nd season. I saw her last night on the season premier. She is in a regular role as director of homeland security. Glad she got a job but wish it had been with Forever.
I will keep calling netfltx until they put forever on their list o will call over band over and over again until they pit it on or the network does I believe it was a Huge mistake to cancel a great show like this in the fridge place
Keep calling Netflixs. Once Longmire was cancelled Netflix picked it up. This is what we red to do to get Forever baca!
I am truly sorry and disappointed this show was cancelled. It was one of my 3 favorites last season; including Scorpion and Stalker. I do not think it was given enough time to take hold. It was one of the first I looked forward to seeing each week; the premise, actors and storylines were excellent. You made a mistake here, especially looking at the fall 2015 season. I am happy to see Alana De La Garza on Scorpion but she belongs on “Forever.” Hugely wrong decision!!!!
Stalker was also one of my favorites. Blast ABC & CBS!
Best show on the air, how could you cancel this great show. Loved the show and it’s stars. Please, please bring it back.
I HAVE EMAILED ABOUT 6 TIMES—CALL. NETFLIX 7-866-899-9972/ EVERYONE BEG THEM.
I was really looking forward to another season of “Forever”! I thought is was a very well scripted and acted, unique show. I never missed it! I hope they reconsider in the future!
I think forever is great I want them to bring it back also it would be a shame bit to
I was watching the television show Scorpion last night, and it appears Alana (detective Jo) has been cast as a regular on this 2nd season show as a homeland security director. Glad she got a job but wish it would have been with Forever.
Love this show.
great characters and relationship dynamics. Deserves another season
I think forever is one of the best shows on television it would be a shame to cancel it I enjoy it immensely I only watch a handful of television shows and this is most definitely one of them I watch it on Hulu which is maybe why it has low ratings but o must say PLEAAE PLEAAE PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL FOREVER I repeat do not cancel forever
I cannot believe such a wonderfull show has been cancelled. It was the type of show that made u look forward to the next Episode. The characters worked so well together and made u feel part of the story. Was really looking forward to seeing it again this year. What a disappointment!!!
I think forever is an excellent show cannot believe.it has been canceled.
Perhaps, we are tilting at windmills. But, maybe it will impact what choices are made in the future. Or have a hand in replacing an antiquated system of gauging a show’s popularity.
As I sit back and enjoy Longmire, I have hope…
I agree with you I lovel forever I don’t want to see it cancelled I trying to think of ways to persuade the network to put it back on the air it’s one of the few I enjoy can you help me think of ways to get it back ty
Reading these comments, and knowing how many times I have tried to have programs I truly enjoyed reinstated, it just occurred to me to ask all well-meaning Forever fans this question: Did we ever think that the purpose of television was meant to give us, the viewers, something to look forward to … something that we might learn something from … something that we feel adds to our lives? It saddens me to read these (mostly) sweet comments, and to know that we are all talking to ourselves.
