Joe 2.0 is now in development at ABC, and the series will see Courtney Lilly, the co-executive producer of Black-ish, team up with Tim Story and Kaplan Entertainment.

Deadline shared the following about the plot of the potential ABC comedy:

“Written by Lilly, Joe 2.0, now in development, is a single-camera comedy where iconic pop culture moments are used to punctuate the everyday moments in the life of a recently divorced high school teacher.”

Lilly and Story will also both executive produce the comedy, and they will be joined by Dana Honor.
