Netflix is upping their TV game. Chief content officer Ted Sarandos says the streaming service plans on doubling their amount of original series in 2017, Variety reports.
Currently, Netflix has 30 original scripted series, which include Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, The Crown, and Bloodline.
At a recent media conference in New York, Sarandos revealed the streaming service has 20 new original series planned for 2017, including A Series of Unfortunate Events, the comedy Santa Clarita Diet, and the unscripted Sylvester Stallone-produced competition series Ultimate Beastmaster.
The Netflix chief later said the streaming service hopes to have 50 percent of its content be original in the future.

Please pick up Bromance! I saw it on my recently added and instantly fell in love with the show. I binged watched it in 3 days, and that’s only because I wanted to savory it and not rush through. They can start by picking up limitless for a second season, that show shouldn’t be cancelled.

Streaming is the future. Cable and Network TV is literally dying as can be seen by the trend in overall falling in ratings.
