Is Bill O’Reilly retiring? In a recent interview with Ad Week, the O’Reilly Factor host discussed the future of the FOX News series.
O’Reilly has been hosting the popular political news talk show since 1996.
When asked how much longer The O’Reilly Factor will run for, the host said not “much longer”:
I don’t know. I go day to day. I don’t want to work this hard much longer. I know that. Because I work hard. I earn my money. But the shocking thing to me is nobody beats me. These young gunslingers, they should be kind of beating me—but they’re not.”

I am going to guess that O’Reilly owes much of his success to almost all other similarly hosted shows being bad. Everyone knows his self-proclaimed independent analysis is BS. But the fact that he thinks is trying to pull it off must help him from going all conservative. Same thing for Fox being “fair and balanced.” Fox is more fair and balanced than everyone else, but one can only see what their biases let them. He would be missed, but FOX has other people waiting to step in and tale over. Will they bring in the same revenue his show does? I don’t know.
