Although ABC has had great ratings success with most of their Shondaland TV shows, the first season of The Catch TV show was a somewhat tepid performer. That said, it still managed to snag a second season. Will The Catch catch fire in season two? Will it be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
A mystery crime drama thriller, season two of The Catch stars Mireille Enos, Peter Krause, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins, Sonya Walger, Elvy Yost, and John Simm. Gina Torres and T.R. Knight recur in the second installment. The ABC TV series features a game of cat and mouse between private investigator, Alice Vaughan (Enos), and the man she loves, the elusive con artist, Benjamin Jones (Krause). At the beginning of the second season, Ben has repented for betraying Alice by turning himself into the Feds, to save her from wrongful imprisonment. Now locked up, he has time to reflect on his transgressions. Meanwhile, the team at Anderson Vaughan Investigations grapples with working with villains. How will Alice and Ben game the system — and each other — to stay together and overcome their dicey histories?

I really hope the executives re think this decision! It has a better story line than a lot of the ones that were renewed. The executives did little to promote this show!

This is a good show really enjoy the chemistry of the actors and the story line!
ABC…FU….stop cancelling good shows, maybe you could have more viewers if you had longer seasons to build up the viewership. Most of us want more than 10 to 13 shows a season and when you have to wait 9 months or longer for a new season, most people won’t tune in. You suck for cancelling my favorite cat and mouse show, boo boo on you…
SOO FREAKING TRUE!!!! There’s very little air time for this and not enough for anyone to enjoy!!! Amazing Cast by far!!! Probably place something ignorant to watch and mind-numbing like “When We Rise” that was the worst to promote, it even took the place of Scandal a few times, just to force people to actually see – ABC truly has the dumbest executives on the planet – especially to cancel The Catch!!!
Love this show and the entire cast is fantastic! Can’t believe how quickly ABC goes thru shows, they really should’ve given this a third season. I loved the extra plot twists they added, especially with her brother! It’s hard to keep up if too many new characters are added, but I think they had reached the perfect amount.
I am literally SO annoyed with ABC! They keep cancelling shows and don’t give them a chance! I hope that Netflix or Hulu brings it back. That’s when people realize that shows are really good when it’s too late:(
