The adventures of The Musketeers will continue. Though BBC has cancelled Atlantis and In the Flesh, the broadcaster has decided to renew The Musketeers for a third season. The program airs on BBC America in the United States. Three episodes of the second season have aired on Saturday nights so far.
Director Andy Hay broke the news this weekend on Twitter, saying that season three will begin filming in the Czech Republic in April.
BBC followed that up with an official announcement: “The Musketeers has delighted audiences at home and around the world and we’re thrilled that we’ve been able to financially support bringing a third series to the BBC, with improved value for the licence fee payer.”

I love all of the cast members and attention to detail creates a real sense or authenticity. The villains in Seasons 1 and 2 have been credible and menacing. Bring on war with |Spain in Season 3. Vive la France!

Really enjoy this show. Just hearing the theme at the beginning makes me smile. Loads of swashbuckling fun. Love the women, no mere damsels for the heroes to rescue. Love all the heroes. Impossible to pick a favorite. All charming in their own unique ways and all look great in leather. Looking forward to season 3.

We’re so happy that there will be another season for the 3 Musketeers. One never gets tired watching it. The story is great as the writing is superb, acting is fantastic! What can an avid follower say but more! more! more!

the old Musketeers movies they were one of my favorite. This Series of the Musketeers
are so much better than the old movies. all my friends enjoy the series as well. The actors
are great. I’m always disappointed when the show comes to the end. I want it to continue
This is a very well done show and is well written, the costumes, filming locations, arms etc. are spot on for the period, it has something for everyone
