Compared to Unforgettable’s series debut a year earlier, CBS was down by 14% in the demo (vs a 2.9 rating) and down by 4% in viewers (vs 14.09 million). While the viewership is very impressive, the demo is less so and CBS has cancelled many series for low demo numbers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Vegas TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
This is one of our favorite shows…I am so tired of getting good shows cancelled. This show was just getting interesting enough to make us followers every episode..we had it set on auto record if we could not watch it right the regular playtime…Extremely unhappy with these cat and mouse cancellations. Golden Boy another example…?
I love Vegas, I was so sorry it is being canceled. This is one of my favorite.
was a very good show. And slowly gaining more and more viewers. definitely think it should have been renewed for 1 more year. goodbye cbs.
This is one of my favourite shows. I hope you do not cancel it. A great story line and excellent acting.
Thanks, Hope
My husband and I love Vegas. It’s one of the few shows we watch together.
keep vegas, just started watching and love the show, another year will definitely bring the ratings up and to cancel so soon would be jumping the gun. Its nice having a show with down home goodness and cheering for the gangster all in one, love the group of actors
VEGAS is an AMAZING show! I dvr it each week and look forward to watching it! It’s like watching a mini-movie!!! Please don’t cancel it!!! Give it another try!!
I agree with Robert….listen to your audience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vegas is a great story line. My whole family has enjoyed it and were disappointed to learn of it being canceled. Being switched to a different night caused a little bit of confusion with viewers and I am guessing but I think this is why there was a drop in viewers. We would love to see it brought back for more seasons.
I love the Vegas show. All the actors are playing their characters excellently, the story and time it’s set in makes it extremely entertaining. I believe some network will pick it up for sure!

Vegas is an AMAZING show! It’s like watching a mini-movie! Due my work schedule, I must dvr Vegas. I look forward to going home on Friday’s knowing that Vegas has been recorded!
I GUARANTEE that the 40-50 age group LOVES this show! Dennis Quaid does an incredible job! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t cancel this show!!!!!!!!
What a shame! Another really good drama gets cancelled for more stupid “reality”. I find it amazing that those of us over 30 who enjoy dramas and put more money into the economy are the ones who suffer for good tv! Michael & Dennis are great in this show!
Please give us back VEGAS. Quaid and Chiklis make a great pair and the writing was superb. Not much is worth watching on network TV these days – Vegas was an exception. . Vegas was a welcome change from the ordinary programming.
Vegas was a great show – great writing, excellent acting and a good story line. So much crappy reality TV – it was nice to have a real show to watch.
LOVE everything about Vegas – an awesome cast – not one weak character in the bunch, love the period setting, the Vegas glitz & glamour. The story line has been interesting & has kept us tuning in week after week. Certainly don’t understand why so many garbage shows are renewed & one of good quality gets cancelled. Whoever makes these decisions needs to consider another line of work.
