Who’s the Boss was a successful series that ran for eight seasons on ABC, from September 20, 1984 until April 25, 1992. For most of the show’s run, it was in the top 20 of the ratings. For many, it is the quintessential 1980s sitcom and is still very popular in syndication today.
The series told the story of a single Dad and former baseball pro, Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) who wanted to get his tomboy daughter, Samantha (Alyssa Milano), out of New York. He ends up taking a job with uptight ad executive Angela Bower (Judith Light). While she’s at the office putting in long hours, he keeps the single mom’s house running smoothly, watches out for Angela’s son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro), and occasionally tries to rein-in Angela’s mother, man-hungry Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond). As time went on, Angela and Tony developed a romantic relationship. When the series ended, it looked like the two might be on the road to matrimony (an idea that Danza didn’t like).
In 2004, Danza began hosting his own daytime talk show, The Tony Danza Show. It was a moderate success and lasted two seasons before being cancelled. One of the most memorable episodes of that series was a reunion of the cast of Who’s the Boss, on November 8, 2005. Though it was extremely brief and informal, it’s nice to see the actors play the characters once more in a short sketch (it’s in the last segment). Take a look.

Who’s The boss: good, clean fun series. And yes, usually underlining values. So, is that what the doctor still orders for us to have a balanced society, or what?
Watch it: chill out. If I am French and dig its cool positive value, so can you.
