It was an uninspiring start for the new sitcom. Had ABC’s Suburgatory been an original, Best Friends Forever would have been in a distant fourth place. Compared to an original episode of Minute to Win It one year earlier, NBC was up slightly for the night but this was still a disappointing performance for BFF and doesn’t bode well for its future.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Best Friends Forever TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I loved the show and believe it should have been renewed. It didn’t help the show to be put on different days. The people who liked it were unable to follow the changes!
You have to watch more than JUST the pilot! This show is freaking hilarious! Few things make my husband laugh out loud, but Quinettaade him laugh! This show deserves to be given a chance more than most new shows on TV. two broke girls was horrible but the network gave THEM a whole season…same with Once Upon A Time…great show with a slow start!
Thanks SB…My thoughts exactly. The writers need mental help. There is an entire middle USA who would just love a clean, funny, simple, quirky show to be loyal to. Why they keep reaching into the toilet is beyond me. I’d be incensed if I were an advertiser. I’m no prude, but I don’t need my nose rubbed in it.
Are you people medically insane?? Oh I’m sorry television has come to retarded models and celebrities dancing. Sorry they aren’t ditzy girls laughing about how they don’t have billions of dollars anymore. This show was witty and real, something television has lost along the way. It’s like a modern I love Lucy, except there is a greater connection between the characters. You people make me sick. Go back to watching your absent plot, mindless sitcoms you all love.

LOVE IT! The 2 women are naturally funny and great together. They cover issues everyone has and show how 2 women who are BFFs grow up and make room for their men, and how they all can fit together.
Just give Quinetta her own show. I watch the show just to see her! I love her!
[…] well considering it’s airing opposite American Idol. It’s doing far better than Best Friends Forever and, so far, is on par with what Whitney was getting towards the end of its […]
Don’t think I’ll be tuning in at all. The pilot wasn’t very funny. And I honestly thought the blonde woman was the worst character. I get that she was friends with the other lady but it just seemed to me that she was just trying to come between her and her boyfriend after her marriage failed. I actually felt bad for him and wanted her to just leave.
This is one of the worst sitcoms I have seen in a while. Not only did I not laugh once, but actually found myself getting mad at how bad this was.
I tuned in to this “program” for the first time and I don’t consider myself a prude but do we really need to hear 2 women talking about their vaginas and shaving them on network television at 8:00 on a Saturday evening?
As a woman I am thoroughly disgusted. Why can’t NBC hire decent writers who can write decent programs?
Why must we be subjected to having women denigrated continuously? Why does NBC feel that it has to pander to the lowest common denominator among its viewers?
This is pathetic, I mean really. How did something like this even make it to air? And I’m not the only one who has this opinion, do a quick google search and you’ll see. I’m thoroughly disappointed, after seeing one pilot that I had to literally force myself to sit through, I am really tired of one hit wonders getting their own TV shows. Except that Lennon Parham has never had a hit, personally she seems more suited as a random, I think I saw her on an episode of How I Met Your Mother once, and that was pretty… Read more »
Loved it.
