TV show description:
This offbeat workplace comedy revolves around a high-tech security firm, Contra Security, that takes outrageous measures to sell their protection services. The company gives clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. The team is made up of oddball and uniquely skilled geniuses that have been hand-picked to work for their manipulative mastermind boss.
The firm is led by “Oz” Osbourne (Christian Slater), a larger-than-life former thief and counterfeiter. He’s doing his best to keep the company on the up and up but loves to order and manipulate his staff.
Cassius “Cash” Sparks (Alphonso McAuley), is a fanboy genius and gadget guy who specializes in strategy, logistics and mad scientist-like office pranks. Josh Armstrong (Trevor Moore) is a promiscuous psychoanalyst and master of disguise who can pretend to be anyone and specializes in manipulating people.
Melanie Garcia (Odette Annable) is an alluring and thrill-seeking safe cracker and lock picker. Her boyfriend is Dutch (Michael Rosenbaum), the group’s eventual mechanic and wheel man. He’s a very attentive (sometimes smothering) boyfriend to Melanie and formerly made his living by selling clean urine on the Internet to help people pass their drug tests.
Plucked right out of college, Oz’s newest recruit is a lovable and charming computer hacker named Cameron Price (Bret Harrison). He’d hacked his way into his school’s system to give himself a full scholarship for life. He’s drafted into Contra Security when they discover what Cameron’s done and threaten to expose him.
While Cameron’s a whiz at cracking into state-of-the-art security systems, dealing with his co-workers isn’t so easy. He has a crush on already-taken Melanie, must endure Cash’s practical jokes, has to put up with Josh’s disgust, and deal with Oz’s manipulations.
