Hart of Dixie: Season Three Ratings

Hart of Dixie season three ratingsThough the ratings came down last season, The CW renewed Hart of Dixie anyway. Will the numbers continue to decline this year? Could the show be cancelled or is it sure to be renewed because of potential syndication profits? We’ll have to wait and see.

Hart of Dixie follows a big-city doctor (Rachel Bilson) who’s adjusting to small-town living and a complicated love triangle. The rest of the cast includes Scott Porter, Jaime King, Wilson Bethel, and Cress Williams.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically the following morning, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Last year comparison: The second season of Hart of Dixie averaged a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.36 million total viewers.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the Hart of Dixie TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?

Should have told the real reason the show was getting 10episodes. Not because the star was pregnant. The president of cw said he only ordered 10episodes no more. Don’t know why people think its going to continue. And said the show was uncertain or going beyond that. If its cancelled can’t get upset about it. The people at cw is the one that make decision about what goes or what stays. No matter how much people want it to stay. The star are the show didn’t show the last summer meeting about hart of dixie. They should go say its cancelled already. Stop putting people hopes up.

My wife and I enjoy watching this show and would hate to see it end. Please keep it going. I don’t know how the ratings are captured, because we know a bunch of other folks that have been watching this show and love it. The casting is great.
