Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

This has been my favorite show for almost 8 whole years. I don’t know what I would watch without it! Too bad more people don’t know about it. Because whenever people do seem to find it, they seem to get hooked no matter what season they started watching.. It is on a small nework with hardly any promotion, and yet, it is seen in many other countries, been animated on DVD, and has a huge online fanbase.
GO SUPERNATURAL !

Supernatural is the finest Science fiction / suspense / horror / light comedy serial TV program I have ever took the time to watch. Although some episodes the writing is a little weak, having Jared and Jenson the true anchors of Supernatural on set well who cares. They consume me, as a viewer, into a story that no pair of co-stars ever have. Their humor, the looks they give each other when irritated with one another ” Your confusing Porn and real life again Dean” make me smile. which is rare with most TV series, though Dean is a little rough on Sam ie: the 66 seal arc, hey Dean you broke the first seal. Well I want this show to continue as long as Law and Order or longer and when it ends, oh the horror, I wish the network allows a true final episode this show deserves it. Keep up the outstanding work guys, I’ll be watching…………

My husband is disabled and he and I started watching this when it began playing on the TNT MORNING shows so we began watching, now we own seasons 1-6… And I know we have watched these discs so many times I can’t believe we have never liked a series like this one??? We stopped COX CABLE and so we are limited to what we have to watch but we still always end up with one of the supernatural seasons on… Need to add 7,8,& 9 to our collection but I am a LOYAL FAN!!!

Just love the show! I do agree that the story line has been focusing on ‘hell’ for a long time, but then again hell is an important element of this show right? Though if given the chance Im sure they’re definitely going to bring in new things too hence they better not cancel the show! I love the show even the way it is… it’s a perfect blend of comedy, thriller and ofcourse the brotherly love and sacrifise played by the adorable Js (Jensen and Jared). Just hope there are many more season to come!

It was already renewed for Season 9 in the beginning of February, along with Arrow and The Vampire Diaries. You might want to check your information.

The renewal is noted between episodes 13 and 14. This post was started in the fall, before the renewal.

Love the series as a whole but really not liking this season. The story is weak and the writing is terrible. They started out good with purgartory flashbacks and mystery about who’s controlling Cass. They also introduced some interesting characters: Benny and Henry. But then they just dropped them for this silly plot about closing the gates of Hell and Sam in jeopardy again. The problem with this season is whenever they focus on Sam it gets boring. Dena is the heart and soul of this show and they need to realize that.

Benny was my favorite “new character” I wish they would of kept him..But then it is Supernatural…So? Maybe they will bring him back…More Cass please…I agree with the “Hell” story line…Let’s get the “hell” out of there and create some new nemesis….Hell will always be there….

Just finishing season two?? You’ve got a lot of great shows ahead! Great show, you won’t love every resolution that’s written but the show itself always makes good. Enjoy!

This show is incredible. Once I saw it for the first time, I had to go back and start from the first season. This was recently and I have already reached the sixth season. I am addicted and I wish for there to be a ninth season and then more after that. I hope the show stays because compared to the other shows airing, this is the most, well, supernatural and I love the supernatural combined with a sense of reality. Just don’t end so soon ! I just found you !

Don’t EVER cancel this show. Its one of the very few good TV shows still airing. I absolutely love it. If this show were to end, it wouldnt be because someone cancelled it.

I agree with what Ashton Vance said, I couldn’t have said it better. Either come up with some more story lines like you have here in season 8 or find some way even if the Brothers close the gates that Cass or someone above him re-opens them, that whole thing in order to have good you have to have evil in the mix. I know that eventually the show will have to end BUT I think they have a good 10 YEARS! Left in them, But that is just one Super Fans opinion. I would like to see more time travel, if you can’t get Jeffrey Dean Morgan to come back, the fellow that played the young John-the boys on their way back to see John’s father makes pit stop and picks up their “dad”… Anyway Please don’t kill the show after 9 and not at 13-

Thank-You for giving the fans a place to give their opinions.
Will Always be a fan!!!!
