Undateable: Season Two Renewal for NBC Sitcom

Undateable TV show on NBC: season 2NBC has renewed their low-rated summer sitcom Undateable for a second season. Executive producer Bill Lawrence tweeted the news and wrote, “Overexcited to do 2nd season of a Undateable on NBC. #pickedup.”

Undateable follows a group of single friends who are trying to figure out the fine art of relationships. The cast includes Chris D’Elia, Brent Morin, Ron Funches, Rick Glassman, David Fynn, and Bianca Kajlich.

The series debuted in late May to a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.84 million viewers. The ratings declined over the course of the season, falling as low as a 0.6 demo rating with 2.24 million. The season averaged a 0.9 rating with 2.78 million.

While those numbers certainly aren’t good, they aren’t bad if you consider the series aired during the summer — and how poorly NBC’s regular comedy series performed during the regular season.

What do you think? Are you glad that Undateable has been renewed for a second season or, should it have been cancelled instead?

My wife and I really like the show. Glad it was renewed. We also agree with one of the previous comments, we think Whitney should have been renewed too. That was also a great show we watched together. Just want to throw this out there to the networks. Ratings don’t mean anything these days when it comes to how popular a show is. Most people are just like my wife and I and watch these shows online or on-demand. We have no idea what day the show airs and never not one time watched it on its air date. This goes for Whitney also. We always wait until we have common free time and watch it together on Hulu. There are also several free sites that other viewers watch it through.

My husband and I thought it was a terrific show. Made us laugh so hard. Love the chacters and actors who play them. The great shows keep getting cancelled and the stupid ones continue on. Perhaps undateable could get bumped up to a different month before people take off on vacation? Just a thought. This show deserves a good chance. Kudos for renewing!!

My wife and I loved Whitney also. Really wanted to see what happened with Mark and Roxanne, things were just heating up.

It was a dream come true, until I came home and realized, after further measuring, that the wedge (which is a singular part of a sectional
that “connects” a sofa and love seat together) took up more corner space than originally anticipated.
These are made with different materials like plastic, steel,
and wrought iron. But you will discover a few concerns you might want to ask.
