Last season, The 100 dropped a bit in the ratings but other The CW shows saw much bigger losses. Will the show’s numbers continue to fall or will they rise? Cancelled or renewed for a fourth season? Stay tuned.
The 100 follows a group of young people who are sent back to Earth nearly 100 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroyed civilization. The cast includes Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Christopher Larkin, Devon Bostick, Isaiah Washington, Henry Ian Cusick, Lindsey Morgan, Ricky Whittle, and Richard Harmon.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/11 update: The CW has renewed this TV show and 10 others for the 2016-17 season.
5/20 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
For comparisons: The second season of The 100 averaged a 0.52 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.54 million total viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like The 100 TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
I was hooked on the show. Why do they string you along and then after we get so involved they cancel the shows. What a lose. There is very few scifi shows on anymore. Oh the old days of star trek
?? It’s not cancelled. They’re working on season 5 right now.
My husband and I have been watching this show since it first aired, and are still intrigued to keep watching new Episodes. It’s one of our favorite shows so far. It’s such a unique and diverse show,so far from any other typical show out there. It would be such a huge dissapointment to see the 100 get cancelled. So DONT CANCEL THE SHOW! Please give me updates on the air date for season 5. Thanks!
Woooo, the season 4 trailer looks awesome!!! Can’t wait for the 100 to come back and kick ass again. All the other shows on right now have disappointed me so much, it will be nice to have one of the better ones back again.
The 100 is an entertaining programme. The plot idea is good but as it has progressed over the 3 seasons it has more holes than the ozone layer. The City of Light idea was cool but went on too long, and where were all the chips coming from ? Thelonius only had one small bag of them yet used thousands. Really interested to see how they get out of the tower where season 3 ended. The walls are greased, the elevator is broken and the stairwell is blasted to rubble. They even decided to make their stand there because there… Read more »
In one episode they (I think it was Raven?) mentioned a chip maker. I don’t know exactly where this thing came from, but I think they made it in A.L.I.E.’s mansion, as well as the backpack which provided her mobility. There are less plot holes than you might think there are. 😉
And yes, I’m very curious how they make their way down. I mean, giant eagles (or flying horses in this case) are very Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts like. Parachutes made of curtains? A secret passage? We’ll see. 😉
Oh, a chip maker, was that not Becca who made all the chips before she died?
No, it was A.L.I.E. We don’t know who made the chip maker (a 3D printer), but for all we know it’s safe to say it was A.L.I.E. (or Jaha, or one of her servants, like the big man whose name I forgot, the one Emori slayed), too. Or it was already there before the bombs fell? I mean, we have 3D printer today, right?
Ah yes. For a second there I got excited thinking there could be a whole other plot twist, yikes, imagine that, evil chip maker scientist still lurking around that we haven’t met! Hmm so Becca only made the one chip and ALIE, or her servants made the rest. Yeah Jaha probably helped her but making magical microchips I don’t imagine is a very straight forward process. I bet in Season 4 they will move on and forget the AI stuff but now that they introduced it they have left so many things unanswered, they just leave the audience to presume… Read more »
Why magical? The chips are devices that block certain nerves or something in the cervical spine so that the “signals” of feeling any pain (physically or psychical) can’t go through to the brain. The only things we don’t know about A.L.I.E. are: 1. Is she still somewhere out there after she uploaded to the rest of the Ark? I think it depends on how long it will be on backup power supply. 2. If she’s up there, can she communicate with the outside world? We know her system on earth was shut down, so how to connect? 2. Is the… Read more »
It is more magical than scientific because it transports everyone into the same ‘dream world’. Although I do love the 100 I do have to admit some parts of this season were really far fetched. Dying your blood black first of all would kill any normal person, it would mess up the cells of the blood and their functions. And it doesn’t make sense that if they did so happen to ‘survive’ that much that their children would then be born with black blood. Black blood is not a hereditary thing it is something she did to herself and that… Read more »
