On Backstrom, an offensive, irascible yet brilliant detective (Wilson) is brought back from exile to run Portland Police Bureau’s Special Crimes Unit. The rest of the cast includes Genevieve Angelson, Dennis Haysbert, Kristoffer Polaha, Page Kennedy, Beatrice Rosen, and Thomas Dekker.

One of the best crime shows in quite a while. This Backstrom character is something new and invigorating. It should really be continued. It has great potential for many more strange and exciting stories off the beaten tracks…

Worst rating of the series had to be the finale. Not that it had much chance at renewal but, it’s obviously done now. Too bad. Good show. Good characters. My thanks to the cast & crew. You deserved better.
I really like this show. It is unique. I hope they give it another chance. Though from those numbers it is not looking very promising.
