This evening, fans are saying goodbye to the Beauty and the Beast TV show on The CW. Is the time right? Should the series be ending? Should the network have made season five?
On Beauty and the Beast, a beautiful detective (Kristin Kreuk), navigates her evolving relationship with a handsome doctor (Jay Ryan) who becomes a terrifying beast. Others in the cast are Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello, Nicole Gale Anderson, and Michael Roark.
Loosely based on the CBS series from 1987, Beauty and the Beast has never been a hit show in the ratings. The first season averaged a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.61 million viewers. The second season dropped to a 0.29 in the demo with 800,000 viewers.
In season three, the demo dropped to a 0.23 rating while viewership grew 10%, to 880,000 viewers. The current season averages have hit new series lows, averaging a 0.20 in the demo with 739,000 viewers.
While The CW execs are ready to say goodbye to this show, that doesn’t mean that the series’ fans are necessarily ready. What do you think? Would you have watched a fifth season or, is four seasons enough? If you’ve seen it, are you satisfied with the last episode?
Honestly I think you should have a Season 5 or more Seasons because leaving a cliff hanger is right. And yes I would watch Season 5

I would watch season 5 6 7 8 9 10 if they would make and air it beauty and the beast is a wonderfull series
I wanted a season 5!! Why make shoes anymore cause all the networks do is get u into watching then just cancel them.. I loved the show and watched them all and then went back on Netflix and watches them all again!! # Beauty&the beast!!❤️
Omg. I just watched all 4 seasons and this show was amazing. Would love to see more. Can’t believe they ended it after 4 seasons.
I would love to watch a season 5 and many more seasons of Beauty and The Beast. It is my favorite show. Please bring back Beauty and the Beast. I miss Cat Vincent JT Tess Heather. I miss the action.
I really hope you reconsider another season!!! I fell in love with this show and cast! One of my top 5 favorite shows! So disappointed that there isn’t another season!

Season 4 ending was not enough. They had just got married and started leading a life as a married couple. There is so much potential in this show this show to expand. And it shows true love, as the couples are consistent and how the couples tend to handle everything together. They can also show them having kids and continue from there spreading the beast DNA. Just some ideas, but letting this show go is tearing apart hearts. Please put this show back for season 5, as 4 seasons were not enough and everything was rushed. Thank you.

I watched the first Beauty and the Beast yrs ago and fell in love with the characters and their love story. This one is even better! Catherine and Vincent are the perfect couple. There shouldn’t be any reason not to make seasons 5-20…at least. Please bring it back..do more advertising to bring numbers up…something needs to be done to keep the show from being cancelled.
