Was your favorite CBS TV show just cancelled? Odds are? No. The Tiffany Network just issued early renewals to a slew of new and returning TV series and Blue Bloods topped the list. That’s right, fans. The Blue Bloods TV show has been renewed for an eighth season.
A CBS family and police procedural drama, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, Marisa Ramirez, Amy Carlson, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray.
The seventh season of Blue Bloods is averaging a 1.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.12 million viewers. Compared to season six, that’s down by 4% in the demo and down by 4% in terms of total viewers, so the renewal comes as no surprise.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Blue Bloods TV series? Do you plan to watch the eighth season on CBS?
Love the show so much!! havent enjoyed such a moral family promotional show since Bonanza! Out of ny… what the heck!!???
I love this TV show it is awesome I watch it all time when it’s on. I hope it is renewed it stays
Blue bloods is great, I even have my husband watching it and he hates tv series. I hope there is a season 8, 9, 10, 11….you get the picture!!!
Love it! I echo every positive thing that’s been said. In addition the family meals are a neat way to discuss moral values and issues. It’s not a sensational, ‘push the envelope’ type of show.
Good drama tho it’s amazing how everything gets neatly wrapped up in one hour. Oh well, can’t have everything.
Love this show. When I can’t watch it I tape it.
Love this show. Will always watch. Family values and great acting!
I will be watching Please keep it going, my family watches every show together
Definitely will watch it, keep it going!
I am thrilled. I love Blue Bloods and have been for it.
Yes will watch. My favorite show
Yes I will watch BLUE BLOODS it is by far the best show on tv. I watch all the renewals as well.
A good well thought out show and having Tom as NYC chief does not hurt.
Bluebloods is our favorite show.
i don’t like it at all . i just started watching the Blue bloods . i’m already in season 6, Episode 20 … Not a very good show . it encourage a lot of hate against white and or blacks. , there’s a lot of double standard going on in both personal family and ” the family business ” this show lacks Moral and values which people that like to say it’s okay to call a black person a bad name such as the N word , or it’s okay to get off easy for 2 grams of crack ..woow… Read more »
I’ve never missed an episode and truly don’t recall the cast condoning racism. Episodes that contain a story line regarding bigotry always show the cast denouncing such things. It is my very favorite drama of all time!
Morals and values should be taught at home by PARENTS not a tv show. The show fairly shows what happens on the streets of any major city in America. The fact that there is a family dinner, which not to many families honor in this generation, and the family business is pretty much kept out of it shows an extended family and and traditions. The kids, now teens, learn there are consequences to bad acts. These kids are good kids who show empathy, compassion and interest in the world. The show is a drama, there is a bit of leeway… Read more »
Blue Bloods is by far the best show on TV. This is the only show I can ever remember that I get emotional about. And my favorite character is Baker.
