NBC has had a lot of success with Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise these past few years. But what about the newest spin-off, Chicago Justice? Are you watching the TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed? If renewed, would you watch season two?
The legal drama centers on Peter Stone (Philip Winchester), the dogged Deputy Chief of the Special Prosecutions Bureau, and follows the other prosecutors and investigators who make up the State’s Attorney’s team. The cast also includes Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda.
Ratings haven’t been terrible for Chicago Justice, but they haven’t been great either. Overall, season one earned an average rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo and 6.20 million viewers. The numbers are decent for NBC, but they do make Chicago Justice the lowest-rated series in the Chicago franchise.
Still, chances are NBC will renew the show because the Chicago shows are successful as a whole brand.

The ratings for this show are a disaster. The show will probably be moved to Mondays at 10 pm next season, which might help. The show really needs a complete overhaul, but NBC is too lazy to do it.
I don’t watch this. I caught three episodes because I like the actors. I was hoping for a Perry Mason type show, but from the prosecutor’s perspective. This is Law And Order – Chicago. I should have figured Wolf wouldn’t try something reasonably different. A complete let down.
That’s what I told my brother. He said it wasn’t. I’m just tired of Law and Order and most shows like that. Not saying the writing is bad or good just tired cops, lawyers shows.

It’s ok, but I can’t seem to connect with it as well as the other shows
Also you can’t just go by what the tv ratings r bc some ppl like me don’t hv cable anymore so we use the Internet to catch up on and watch our favorite shows….please don’t cancel this show….it’s a good show
This show isn’t on cable, it is on NBC, so your excuse goes out the window. The live average ratings are a 1.13, which is a disaster. If it is wasn’t for Carl Weathers, I would be going nuts that NBC hasn’t already cancelled it. The reason it will probably be back? NBC doesn’t care about bad ratings anymore, and that is pathetic. Lucky you.
I am a big fan of ALL the Chicago shows…..Fire, PD, Med AND Justice….that being said I think there should be a season 2 PLEASE!
Please renew Chicago Justice for season 2! I enjoy watching all the Chicago series.
