NBC has had a lot of success with Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise these past few years. But what about the newest spin-off, Chicago Justice? Are you watching the TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed? If renewed, would you watch season two?
The legal drama centers on Peter Stone (Philip Winchester), the dogged Deputy Chief of the Special Prosecutions Bureau, and follows the other prosecutors and investigators who make up the State’s Attorney’s team. The cast also includes Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda.
Ratings haven’t been terrible for Chicago Justice, but they haven’t been great either. Overall, season one earned an average rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo and 6.20 million viewers. The numbers are decent for NBC, but they do make Chicago Justice the lowest-rated series in the Chicago franchise.
Still, chances are NBC will renew the show because the Chicago shows are successful as a whole brand.

Yes! Renew Chicago Justice for Season 2! This is a great show! Philip Winchester, Monica Barbaro, Carl Weathers, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda are a superb team…not to mention Chicago is a great backdrop.
I like all of the actors. But the cases aren’t that interesting. They are over the top disturbing sometimes. And, the last episode with a ridiculous “twist” by having one lawyer be horrible, the main be completely correct and the jury goes to the guilty.. nope. don’t need that crap
Bring back for Season 2. Need to move off of Sunday. Even though TWD lost viewership for Season 7 it might still be a challenge for Justice ratings. But I definitely like it.

I will say that when this show appeared on Sunday it wouldn’t have a chance against Walking Dead, they need to change its time slot too, when Sunday night football comes back too. This is the only Chicago show, I’m not a fan of it. Legal shows are just to boring to me. Bring Jon Seda back to Chicago PD please!!!

Each time Joelle Carter appears, I keep waiting for ‘Raylan’ to show up…but he never does. We started watching this out of loyalty to the whole ‘Chicago’ series and enjoy the creativity on how law is applied.

I love Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. Chicago Justice just isn’t that good but I watch it because Antonia is on it and there’s not much on Sunday night. Hoping it gets better!
