The Bowmaan family is hanging it up. USA Network has cancelled the Colony TV show after three seasons. Fans have suspected a cancellation was on the way, because this year, the series does not have an official presence at San Diego Comic-Con, which is currently underway. Reportedly, episode 3.13, “What Goes Around Comes Around,” which airs Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00pm ET/PT, will serve as the Colony TV series finale.
A USA Network sci-fi drama from Carlton Cuse and Ryan J. Condal, Colony stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles, Peter Jacobson, and Alex Neustaedter. The story unfolds in the near-future, in a world where citizens are under military occupation, as a part of a larger extraterrestrial invasion. Former FBI agent Will Bowman (Holloway) and wife Katie (Callies) struggle to reunite and rebuild their family as they fight to uncover the truth behind the occupation.
Colony: A Look at the Ratings
Leading up to the season three finale, the third season of Colony is averaging a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 672,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 36% and 18%, respectively. Check out how Colony stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

Every time I like a series it’s cancelled. Why am I wasting my invested time in watching a series and the tv station is making money of this time. The stations are making fools of us and we should boycott them if they are excessive.
Every year I excitedly await the new season’s offerings.
Very disappointed with the cancellation.

Great idea. Though I prefer the series.
I want to see the alien’s environment. Hard to keep viewers when we don’t see the bad guy’s in their environment, etc.
It is exactly this, the reason I canceled my cable, have no TV at all in my home and only download what I want to see. an eye for an eye

Its a shame. It really seemed There was a lot of interesting places for the storyline to go. Would be great if Netflix would pick it up.
I do not have many tv shows I watch each and every week , but I love Colony. to find out you have canceled Colony Please don’t I know more people out there love it as much as i do
It really sucks that all the good shows are being canceled. Please at least finish the story. Dont leave us hanging about whats gonna happen with Bowman frozen and what happened to the rest of his family and everyone on earth.
I really hate it when Networks cancel a TV Series and leave you hanging as to what happened?? At least do a finale or something to close it up so we can finish with the series we like. So now Bowman is in a frozen coffin and what happens to the family and Seattle??
this is heart breaking……you’ve got 2 great main stars from other shows that were phenomenal,one that’s still running,the walking dead and one that as immediately a must own to re watch forever,Lost,and those actors are supported by a great cast and an open world with so many potential story lines and characters that could come.i agree i’m tired of shows leaving me in limbo because of networks.This trend is reall going to start effecting the networks negatively for all shows.

canceling shows like this (series) is making me feel that I should no longer watch any series shows. Every year series show shows are canceled without the last show being at least a “finally”. If a show is thought to be on the probable cancel list, have at least one more show with some kind of ending ready to broadcast as the series finale. I am tried of shows leaving you hanging forever. It makes me feel like I’ve wasted hours of viewing time and should only watch single subject episodes.
I couldn’t agree with you more on every point that you made been watching television since 1958 and the only thing that’s really changed his commercial time has increased from five minutes to 16 minutes in the Northeast on all the network stations.
I think popularity dropped because they started filming in Canada.too bad I loved the show but liked it better filmed in California climate.
