The Bowmaan family is hanging it up. USA Network has cancelled the Colony TV show after three seasons. Fans have suspected a cancellation was on the way, because this year, the series does not have an official presence at San Diego Comic-Con, which is currently underway. Reportedly, episode 3.13, “What Goes Around Comes Around,” which airs Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00pm ET/PT, will serve as the Colony TV series finale.
A USA Network sci-fi drama from Carlton Cuse and Ryan J. Condal, Colony stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles, Peter Jacobson, and Alex Neustaedter. The story unfolds in the near-future, in a world where citizens are under military occupation, as a part of a larger extraterrestrial invasion. Former FBI agent Will Bowman (Holloway) and wife Katie (Callies) struggle to reunite and rebuild their family as they fight to uncover the truth behind the occupation.
Colony: A Look at the Ratings
Leading up to the season three finale, the third season of Colony is averaging a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 672,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 36% and 18%, respectively. Check out how Colony stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

Network TV will be gone eventually. What a shame… Cancelling shows without a conclusion is just not fair to viewers. Colony needs to have a conclusions.
Just watched the Series finale. Can’t believe it was left like that. Need another season. This is to great of a series to end it now. It’s getting really good. Please renew it!!!
This can’t be the series finale! With all these unanswered questions… I almost didn’t bite when I saw this show was from the creators of Lost, but the theme seemed interesting and the first few episodes got me hooked. Never again! From now on I will stay away from anything by Carlton Cuse. Total waste of time.
If you are going to cancel Colony then you need to end the series the right way…don’t punish us fans who still watch the show..give us a good ending not a cliffhanger!!!!!

This show is one of the best sci-fi series out there! Great cast and the story had been phenomenal. Please do at least one more season to properly complete the story!

If that is the series finale then USA has wasted my time the last 3 seasons. So disappointed. I’ll remember the next time USA is promoting a new show
USA Network made a bad decision. The show should have had at least one more season to properly end the series if they were going to cancel it. The move from Thursday to Wednesday affected viewership and could have been corrected next season, instead they just ruined whatever DVD sales they would have gotten. Who wants to buy a series that has no conclusion.
I have watched this show all three seasons, and finally this season, they let us in on what was really going on….and to cancel it now is just a shame! We need another season or two if you ask me…it is just getting really good!
