The Bowmaan family is hanging it up. USA Network has cancelled the Colony TV show after three seasons. Fans have suspected a cancellation was on the way, because this year, the series does not have an official presence at San Diego Comic-Con, which is currently underway. Reportedly, episode 3.13, “What Goes Around Comes Around,” which airs Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00pm ET/PT, will serve as the Colony TV series finale.
A USA Network sci-fi drama from Carlton Cuse and Ryan J. Condal, Colony stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles, Peter Jacobson, and Alex Neustaedter. The story unfolds in the near-future, in a world where citizens are under military occupation, as a part of a larger extraterrestrial invasion. Former FBI agent Will Bowman (Holloway) and wife Katie (Callies) struggle to reunite and rebuild their family as they fight to uncover the truth behind the occupation.
Colony: A Look at the Ratings
Leading up to the season three finale, the third season of Colony is averaging a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 672,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 36% and 18%, respectively. Check out how Colony stacks up against other USA Network TV shows.

I do not watch reality shows, sports, talk shows and not a great deal of news. I want to be entertained and enjoy scripted shows which feature good actors and good scripts. In this day of uncertainty, shows such as Colony make us think as well as entertain us. I will miss it.
This is terrible news. I love this show and just when it looks like the humans will get a leg up, they cancel it? Especially with a cliffhanger of a finale. Is it possible that Netflix or Amazon will pick up the show at least for 1 more season for a satisfactory conclusion? We want to know what happens to the Bowmsn family and all the rest of them. This sucks
USA networks should have a 2 hour movie to wrap up the story for us loyal fans who have watched every episode of the Colony.
I can’t believe another one of my shows cancelled. I have watched this from the beginning and I l0ve it. Watched the last show not happy they could not have wrapped it up. Please bring this back it would be crazy to drop this show when all the regular networks are cancelling shows more people will be turning to cable to find good television programs. Can you please bring it back for season 4 with a conclusion.
My sentiments as well. …bummed out that any series that’s good(!) and are cancelled before their wrap. ..it’d be nice if they could’ve gotten to S4
Wow, I can’t believe this. Colony was my favorite show. The season 3 ending was so exciting. I was thinking can’t wait till Season 4 starts. I hope SyFy or someother network picks this up!!
Hope it comes back or gets picked up by another network. Loved this show. Great cast. Interesting and unpredictable. It’s a mistake to cancel this show!

I’ve also watched Colony since the beginning. To me it was picking up steam all the way through the most recent episode! Please please USA reconsider or someone else pick it ip!
Cancelling this show is a bad decision…. Cancelling without bringing this story to fruition just compounds that bad decision!!
I would hope that Syfy would pick it up. It would be a refreshing change from some of
the terrible shows they keep turning out…..
but they also cancel good shows that have large followings…… smh

I really like the show. Im Hoping USA Network will change their mind. I’ve followed the show from the beginning . Have watch last episode yet. I’ve seen other comments that left with I answered questions. USA bring the show back.
Colony is a great show I can’t believe they won’t make season 4. This is terrible especially since we all followed this series with no real ending – you would think they knew season 4 wasn’t on the cards and end it better…
Hoping another network picks it up, there needs to be a conclusion, unless it was done intentionally because another network will be picking it up. I LOVE THE SHOW.The cast is wonderful, great chemistry…

please bring colony back. give it and real ending. I ve watch this show since the first episode…I hope netflex picks it up for the 4 season..I don t watch a lot of tv.. but I love sci-fi program.
