NBC has found some ratings success with their Grimm TV show on Friday nights. Now, they’ve introducing another supernatural series — Constantine. How will this one do in the ratings? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
Constantine revolves around the travels and work of John Constantine (Matt Ryan), an occult detective. He tries to help the innocent though his soul is already damned to hell. Others in the cast are Harold Perrineau, Charles Halford, and Angelica Celaya.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
11/24 update: Cancelled? Production on Constantine is shutting down after 13 episodes but…
Final season averages: 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.34 million total viewers.

Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Constantine TV show? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for a second season?
About a week before NBC brought “Undateable” back, I looked up the ratings for it & found that it often had less than 3M viewers per week (10 weeks out of 13) – clearly less than Constantine. Since its return, the ratings have improved dramatically (6.4M & 5.2M in the last 2 weeks). That gave me some hope that NBC might bring Constantine back for a second season (since they brought another less-than-stellar performing show back for a second chance). But, I just read on Yahoo that our beloved show has been canceled – even though THIS website still shows… Read more »
I don’t like Grimm. The ONLY show I watched regularly on this network was Constantine!
I even bought the series on Amazon. Somewhat disappointed at the abrupt ending, I NEED MORE EPISODES. They better not cancel this. The characters are fun and well acted.
I love Constantine now bring it back.
I love Constantine, please bring it back, it makes my Friday night.
Bring it back. We look forward to it every week!
Bring it back
I want it to continue!!
I want it to continue!!!
Love this show!!!!! Please keep it on.
I like it. It’s the only thing on NBC I watch besides Grimm. If NBC doesn’t want it, then I hope it gets picked up by some other network.
I love the show and got 2 other people watching it so far. Don’t cancel it. It’s actually quite good.
I enjoy the show Constantine very much indeed along with Grimm and Supernatural. All three are interesting and worth keeping. -fdo believe its early ratings will increase as more sci-fi fans discover it is on and certainly worth watching weekly.
I really like the show, Constantine, I hope it will be renewed. Lots of the good ones get cancelled,(my opinion) and so many bad ones stay on. We all have different taste in tv shows, and I like this type. Please keep.
Keep the series going, it will be worth it just invest the time with the writing. You will find that the show will pick up quite the following.
why don’t they just cancel it already! this is the WORST show ever created! i mean if they would have taken their time, and invest their money in a leading star that could actually act, it might hold, but they didn’t. so flash it down the toilet of bad tv shows, and move to the next one.
Me & my boyfriend love the show it’s very interesting. Keeps us wanting to watch more! We’ve watched the whole season. I think you should definitely keep it for more seasons. Don’t cancel! 🙂
