NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
NBC, that’s not cool. Crisis is a fantastic show. Just because the ratings? Really? What do you expect from a Late Night Sunday show? Perfect ratings? I am still in school and yet I stay up just to watch Crisis. Now, you’re cancelling it? Puhh-lease. Crisis is a great show and you should not cancel it. You are ruining the people on Crisis careers. And now, we will never know what happens next!!
I am a watcher of Crisis since the beginning episode and wondered where the show was on May 11. This is a much better show than most of the stupid shows that are on now; I only watch Crisis, Blacklist, Castle, and the new 24. Please put the remaining shows on the air; I also used to watch Hostages which ended abruptly. Guess I have to stay with shows on Xfinity!!!!
Crisis is a good series…definitely shouldn’t have been cancelled…
Besides, what kind of ratings were they expecting for a show airing late on Sunday….
This is an amazing show why cancell it, It was addicting and interesting, NBC have to make more shows like this
Well.. it is the Greed with in those Corporates, the real reason those vrey good shows get cancelled. As I notice by other posters here that the most sad part it is: we are been replaced by worst full of crap (for mind and soul) series, do not understand why we get good positive message TV series with Love, Motivation, Change, Thriller, Suspense… ect and been replaced by Shows that promote : Envy, Hate, Vanity, Anger, Arrogance, Divition, Competition (on the wrong way) AKA full of Crap… Tv is one of the Comunication System for the mass, stunt like this… Read more »
Is it me, or is this deja vu? Anyone remember “THE EVENT”? I told my son when “Crisis” first aired that it looked pretty good, but NBC will let viewers (at least those who are fans) get interested in a show and then cancel because of “numbers”. (Again, remember “THE EVENT”?). Did NBC consider a date/time change? Perhaps letting parts of this theme be solved each week, and not making viewers (at least those who are fans) wait week after week to see if “any” child is rescued? Other networks have programs where even though the theme is ongoing, problems/concerns… Read more »
What’s wrong with you all cancelling a show that keeps you interested. Instead you keep all these so-called reality shows that are so fake that it’s ridiculous. Please do better…. Crisis is a good show.
So sad to see Crisis cancelled! I have LOVED it!! I
Best new drama on TV this year, cannot believe it is being cancelled. Hope they at least put the last 4 episodes on.
How about that! NBC cancelling the three shows I watch. Crisis, Revolution and Believe are all unique. Not the same old, same old.
I Love Crisis, it was fast moving and interesting. Where do we go to protest and try and get it back on?
Somehow the best shows always get cancelled.Crisis needs to continue its full of potential finish the first season and see what good results it will yield
WOW what a great TV series LOVE Crisis PLEASE do not cancel….why do they cancel such great series and keep all the dumb reality shows on. WHAT A WASTE !!!
I love crisis! How does such a show get low ratings?! Makes no sence, it has the same pace blacklist does, change the timeslot, move the show around just dont cancell it!
This show is as good as the blacklist and 24. This show is unique. A late Sunday night airing is a disaster for any tv show. People have to go to bed to prepare for the work week. I always watch the show the following day on NBC.com or Xfinity. I am not sure about how the ratings are formulated but do they take into account viewership/rating on DVR, NBC app or Xfinity app on the ipad. I hope they release the remaining episodes. This is unfair to the loyal viewers, that’s why I hardly watch tv shows from the… Read more »
