CBS has been having a great season. Several of their new shows have been successful and many of their established series are still doing well. Unfortunately, that could be bad news for fans of a little show called Flashpoint.
Flashpoint follows the work of a group of highly trained police officers called the Strategic Response Unit (SRU). The series stars Enrico Colantoni, David Paetkau, Hugh Dillon, Sergio Di Zio, Michael Cram, Mark Taylor, Ruth Marshall, and Amy Jo Johnson.
The show was initially produced for Canada’s CTV and CBS picked up the rights to air season one during the writers strike. It ended up performing well for the network and that led CBS to join CTV in renewing it for seasons two and three.

Season three of Flashpoint was supposed to begin airing early this year but the network has so much successful programming that the show still hasn’t been put back on the schedule.
Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment, recently told critics at the TCA press tour that Flashpoint was now being pushed outside the regular season. That means that the cop series won’t be back until late-Spring or Summer 2010 at the earliest.
While the show has performed well during the summer months in the past, there’s no guarantee that will continue. The show will have been off the air for almost a year by the time it returns. The longer that the show is off the air, the more likely that viewers — and TV executives — will forget about it.

I was thrilled that they brought back the show, but was very very disappointed with the first episode where they killed off one of their teammates. I have chosen to no longer watch the show.

Well boys and girls, it was a wonderfull Friday night. There I was, 8:00p.m. just me and the bright ones from FLASH POINT. Thank you again for making it happen. We now get to see what every one in Canada has already seen, but I don’t mind, I’m all about thoses Hugh Dillon blue’s eyes and Enrico Colintoni’s brilliant acting.

I love this show and can’t wait for it to return in June. I am not sure what CBS calls its succesful shows but this is one for sure and should run all 22 episodes this summer. There are a few shows CBS could take off and it would not bother me. Just don’t take off Criminal Minds, NCIS and NCIS Los A. or CSI Miami
Please bring back Flash Point. My husband and I really love it. We were excited to see that it was being aired next week, but then realized it was a show from 2009. Is it coming back or not??

Listen up everyone. Flashpoint comes back on CBS with the 22 episodes in the can already. It begins this Saturday, May 29, with a rerun of the very first episode. After that, it will be on Friday evenings. Hip, hip, hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the gal in Albuquerque who was worried about it not being shown here, it has already been advertised locally on channel 13, so I guess it is set. Now we all must start hounding CBS for seasons 4 and beyond. It is a great show and needs to stay on.
Bring the show back dammit! How many of my shows are gonna be canceled!?
Listen up CBS, make sure FLASH POINT is on all the local carriers, Channel 13 Albquerque, New Mexico, and not some fill in the blank. We want our real time cops and robbers stories. Not another Hollywood drama. Keep us happy and we the fans will keep you happy by showing up every Friday Night.

Please bring this show back. I have been waiting for it to return. This shows that people do care. It shows the men and women that put there lives on their line everyday for other people. It also shows that they are people to. Please bring this show back. It is great show and I love the story lines. I love it love it love
Please bring back Flashpoint. I watched only 3 shows. Deal or no Deal (primetime) which has been cancelled and Life on Mars which has also been cancelled. Please don’t cancel the last one or I will be stuck with all my wife’s shows which I wont mention!

Now if I was going to spend a evening with my feet up in my fluffy bunny slipper and watch a DVD of season One and Two of FLASH POINT it would be on any night other than Friday. Because I have a hot date of Friday nights, so don’t screw it up for me CBS. Keep FLASH POINT on the air with happy writers, actors, and crew. Oh and us fans too.

Flashpoint is – by far – THE best show on television. My husband & I watch a lot of TV and we always looked foward to watching Flashpoint on Friday nights. We watch all the CSI’s, Criminal Minds, etc. but Flashpoint beats them all. The acting is fabulous and as we live north of Toronto, it’s interesting pointing out all the places we recognize in the City – especially the Maple Leaf Gardens. A lot of my co-workers enjoy it as well. Please bring it back for many more seasons !!!!!!!
