The production values on Last Resort are impressive but the ratings aren’t. The show will be cancelled if the numbers don’t improve.
What can you do? Remember, the ideal scenario for ABC is for many millions of people to watch the show on their television sets, while it’s being broadcast. Unfortunately, ratings are put together based on a sampling of viewers. If you’re a “Nielsen household,” your viewing is being counted. If not, it’s not.
However, if you like Last Resort and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.
- If you’re a Nielsen family, watch the show whenever it’s on. If not, watch it on ABC.com or purchase episodes online so your viewing will be directly counted. Encourage others to watch the show. You might know a Nielsen family and not be aware of it.
- Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show that you’re invested in gets other people interested and might help bring former viewers back.
- Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
- Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. You can use this form or, even better, write via “snail-mail” to: Mr. Paul Lee, President, ABC Entertainment Group, 500 S. Buena Vista Street, Burbank, CA 91521, RE: Last Resort
- Call the network at (818) 460-7477, press “1”, then press “2”, then “2”, then press “737”, and leave a 30 second message. Be polite and tell them how much you like the show.
- Take note of the products that are advertised during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

Revenge and Stalker are my husband and my favorite shows. We look forward to watching them and with my disability watching my favorite shows on tv is my only form of entertainment. Our shows should not be canceled just because we are not a family whose tv viewing is monitored by Neilson ratings. There are probably millions of people who watch these shows that don't have a way of letting the networks know how much we watch and enjoy these shows. Revenge is getting so close to getting Emily and Jack together and with Emily's father coming to the show it has made it a must see drama. I would be very disappointed if these shows were canceled so please keep them on.

Hello You have a good thing going here (stalker), I think all of us are getting tired of the crime scene shows csi, etc etc etc, they all do the same thing, so I don't watch them anymore, but stalker comes from left field unexpectedly & has a diff format then other shows, this keeps me interested as others im sure would agree, like I said its way diff then other shows on tv today so you are headed in the right direction, so PLEASE keep it on for several more yrs & see if you get a growing audience...thankyou for reading & GOODLUCK

Please don't cancel The Last Resort! My husband and I both love this show and looked forward to the next episode each week. I honestly don't understand why great shoes are cancelled and reality shows are kept. I have yet to see a reality show that was anywhere close to MY reality! The Last Resort kept us on the edge of our seat while giving people a greater understanding of the sacrifices and bravery that our forefathers endured. Yes, this show is fictional, but the parallels can easily be made. It is so pleasant to watch something that isn't full of bad language, sex, and poor morals. Please, please give America the opportunity to enjoy great drama each week without compromising our principles!

To be honest, I had thought this show was one of those self contained multi episode one season series; that are becoming more popular lately. Those kind of series are popular in the UK; but the few that have been presented here were not produced properly! BUT if they had more written, I would have loved to see it.
What happened when they got home? Were marriages saved or lost? Were the officers and the crew court marshaled? What happened to those who stayed on the island ?
There was more life in Last Resort. It would have been nice to see it! The actors you had and their chemistry were outstanding. You let a good series go. What a shame!

This was my favorite show ever. But all the good shows get cancelled. I would love talking about this show to everyone. I hate how shows get cancelled. I have started a habit of not starting a show till it has been on a few seasons, then I will watch the previous seasons on hulu or iTunes to get caught up. I refuse to keep getting hooked on shows only for them to get cancelled. Who watches these reality TV shows anyway, no one I know.
