Now that Riggs is gone, will some of the audience of this FOX series depart with him? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Lethal Weapon is cancelled or renewed for season four. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated that their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the season three episodes of Lethal Weapon here. **Status update below.
An action-comedy-drama, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Seann William Scott, Kevin Rahm, Johnathan Fernandez, Michelle Mitchenor, Keesha Sharp, Dante Brown, and Chandler Kinney. The series follows Detective Roger Murtaugh (Wayans), his LAPD colleagues, and his family at home. After a tragedy, Murtaugh is partnered with Detective Wesley Cole (Scott), a former CIA operative who’s been everywhere and seen everything. How long will it take him to adjust to Los Angeles?

Stupid move killin off Riggs. It ain’t LW without him. The show is not a hit without CC. CC WAS Riggs. Now it’s a dud.
I am relieved LETHAL WEAPON has been renewed. Episode 5 is my very farvorie…..I just think the more you watch you become more involved..and do not compare it to the season 1 and 2…..as a side note he looks like Adam Levine…..everyone please give this a fair chance……thank you .
Awful end of season 2. Sws is good actor. Dont feel it has the sane fun in it now. #TeamClayne Just think the chemistry isnt there anymore. It was between Riggs & Murtaugh til Damon grew jealous of Claynes genuine enjoyment of acting.
I like the new character Cole. He’s not Riggs who was fantastic but I think he fell into the part nicely. I’d like to see a little more humor with him though. I did hear that Damon Wayons might stay if they adjust his working hours. With his diabetes the long schedule is too hard on him, lets hope that’s true, otherwise this show will be done if he leaves.
Looks like Detective Roger Murtaugh shot himself in the foot. There will be no recovery.

I was hoping to be able to watch this season but aftet watching the first 2 just cant do it. I have taken it off my recording, list. It was a fair show before but has went down. Doesnt matter if they keep it or drop it.
I love the new Cole and what the wrters are getting him to say. I think it’s far superior than previous. Cole is so much more believable. I hate that Damon is leaving, but writing is good. Guess I’m just gonna have to keep enjoying the new shows and miss it when it’s gone. But, thanks for coming back. I like this new guy!!
Have not watched this season, was a diehard Lethal Weapon fan but no longer. I have joined CBS and am now watching FBI.
This show is witty interesting and the characters entertwine Fantastically. LOVE the new character and his “insightful daughter”. Please give Show a chance! The whole family can watch and enjoy without “sultry” content. JUST SPREAD the word MORE. LOVING the new cop So Much. Great chemistry with he and Damon.
Yes shooting people is family fun but no yucky sultry content.
Firing CC bc of another’s lies and divaness killed the show. The show is named after the Riggs character, so now it makes no sense. Like SWS, but will not watch LW anymore. Nobody should be treated like CC was. He’s a wonderful actor, great family man, wonderful to his fans, uses his name to help countless charities, etc. So I will not watch LW anymore bc the person who caused all this is still on there and I hope it’s cancelled soon b4 he can quit in Dec., so he can’t claim it wan’t his fault.

I also 100% agree. Gave it a chance. It’s terrible. Boring. And needs to go. Shame on DW and FOX for basically giving their fans the middle finger. CC MADE the show!
As much as I loved Riggs, I think they handled his departure in a respectful manner. Even though I miss him, I’m loving Cole’s character. He’s very different, has a completely different background, & not trying to replace Riggs. I think the viewers should give him a chance before putting the crew & cast out of work.. It’s really well done. Great job by the writers.
I’m sorry, I have to disagree. It was a hatchet job done to make another jealous actor happy, now he’s quitting in Dec b4 he can be blamed for the cancellation of the show, but anyone who knows the truth knows what happened. A great actor, good family man, champion of charities who actually still takes time to interact with his fans, was lied about and even worse to get him fired.
Sorry, but since I wasn’t there, I don’t know what actually happened except that CC actually admitted to being reprimanded a few times and sent to anger management classes, in addition to a guest director walking off the set. That speaks volumes. A lot of perfectionists have short fuses. It would be a shame if that’s what did CC in. In the meantime, I still say give Cole a chance. He’s a great actor and shouldn’t be penalized because another actor was fired.
The show was called Lethal Weapon. Riggs was the Lethal Weapon. That’s like watching Lone Ranger and the producer saying “ok, LR isn’t in this, but we got this other guy that’s kind of like him. That’s close enough right?”
Stupid without Crawford, wanna make money? Get Crawford and due a lethal weapon Movie reboot have him as Riggs and have Samuel L Jackson as Murtaugh. The series is dead without Riggs.

Damon Wayans saw the writing on the wall and quit. He knew the show would be canceled without the real star, Riggs
He only has himself to blame, since he caused all this.
Just read Damon Wayans says he is leaving Lethal Weapon in December.

Same thing I keep saying. He started this out of jealousy bc CC was getting way more popular than him and he couldn’t handle not being the “star”. Even though the show was named Lethal Weapon, and that’s Riggs character. Now it doesn’t even make sense. He doesn’t want to stick around bc as you said he’s a coward and wants to jump ship b4 it’s cancelled bc he thinks that way nobody will be able to blame him. But it WAS and ALWAYS WILL BE his fault.
I loved the show and I say loved because they have just ruined it for me. I have forced myself to watch the 2 episodes and I cant make it till the end. The season opener bombed in my eyes… Murtaugh asking to have a partner really? the new guy does not have the spark that Clayne has he was the reason I watched and DVRed ever week…thanks Wbrothers for ruining it for me…I see that the drop in ratings are sending you guys a clear message…
They’re so out of tune they probably don’t even get the message. I mean firing the actor CC who played Riggs, The Lethal Weapon the show was named for just to satisfy a not very talented fellow actor who was jealous should show how little sense they have. It’ll be cancelled soon and we can forget about DW and continue to watch the amazing projects I know CC is going to be in and forever mourn the great show it could have been.
Sherry, I completely agree with you! I sat through 4 episodes and finally decided that the dullness, the total boredom, the guy taking CCs place is sleep walking through his scenes! No chemistry anywhere any longer! Totally stupid decision by W Brothers, and FOX executives to listen to a whiney actor whose ego is far bigger than his talent. Clayne Crawford acted rings around the whole bunch of the rest of this cast! I hope he is successful in the future and will look forward to watching ANYTHING he is in! So sad……
