About “Livin’ Lozada”
“Livin’ Lozada” follows the lives of reality star Evelyn Lozada, of “Basketball Wives” fame, and her 22-year-old daughter Shaniece. The series will return this spring with new drama and a whole new setting. Now that baseball season has ended, Evelyn and her fiancé, LA Dodgers star Carl Crawford, leave the glitz of Hollywood for their offseason home in Arizona. As the big 4-0 approaches, Evelyn feels more pressure than ever about conceiving a child and giving her young son, Leo, another sibling. Meanwhile, Shaniece is blazing her own career path, working to step out from her mother’s shadow in the fast-paced world of modeling. Despite Shaniece’s excitement over her budding career, she finds herself missing her mother and best friend who is now so far away. “Livin’ Lozada” is produced by Shed Media (part of the unscripted/alternative television department at Warner Bros.), with Pam Healey, John Hesling, Lisa Shannon, Russ Heldt and Evelyn Lozada as executive producers.
About “Flex & Shanice”
“Flex & Shanice” follows the lives of husband and wife duo, actor Flex Alexander (“One on One”), and Grammy-nominated singer Shanice (“I Love Your Smile”). From the outside looking in, Flex and Shanice are living the dream: they are beautiful celebrities with a long-standing marriage, gorgeous kids and a lovely home in suburbia. But five years ago when they were struggling financially, they invited their hilarious extended family to move in to help make ends meet and they have never moved out. And while this may give Flex and Shanice the support staff they need as they both focus on making professional comebacks, nine people under one roof can add just as much stress as it relieves. Flex and Shanice are working hard to reinvent their careers, and trying to hold it together long enough to capture that one big break before it’s time to chase another dream. “Flex & Shanice” is produced by Lynch-Dyson Entertainment. Executive producers are Jeff Dyson, Vernon Lynch and Robert Caplain.”
What do you think? Have you seen either Livin’ Lozada or Flex & Shanice? Will you watch the new episodes?
I’m a big Flex and Shanice Show fan! It’s refreshing to see a black family without the fighting and profanity. It’s a nice, wholesome family show that should remain in the programming at OWN. Why are you removing the good, decent shows??? It’s better than watching Dr. Phil, 20/20, 48 Hours Gard Evidence, and Dateline on OWN… Who in the hell wants to watch a so-called psychologist whose family ancestors were slave owners and criminals and 3 shows about murders???? Who is in charge of OWN programming? Whoever he/she is…they need to be fired… I’m just saying…
I miss watching Flex and Shanice show. Such a beautiful couple.
I liked Evelyn on her show with her daughter but after watching her on Basketball wives she showed a side of herself that reminded me of how she was in the past on baseball wives… fighting and being messy. It makes you wonder if her show is fake and she’s not showing her true self.. I guess it’s all a show for tv. Maybe she needs to just focus on her show because she’s positive on there and she needs to stay off basketball wives because she’s really negative on that show.
Awaiting season 3 of Livin Lozada. It was a good will show, down to earth energy and pure humbleness potrayed between Evelyn and her fam. Especially her relationship with her daughter was quite inspiring to watch; todays moms and daughters connected with them. I saw her return in BBW lastnight, and, she has definitely evolved into a classy person, though, it was the first episode, i am hopeful her acquired growth will be seen throught out the remaining show. It’s just that kind of faith you put into someone’s character you want to see do good in their overall well-being.… Read more »
Please bring these shows back!! My mom & I love these shows. I grew up loving Shanice’s music & I loved Flex’s sitcom. I also enjoyed getting to know Evelyn and seeing all the positivity in her life since all the negativity portrayal in Basketball Wives (I loved her then too though). Bring them back; we are waiting! #nothingbutlovehereinArkansas
