A&E has cancelled Longmire after three seasons. The cable channel issued a statement that said, “We would like to thank the phenomenal cast, crew and producers of Longmire, along with our partners at Warner Horizon, for their tireless work on three seasons of quality dramatic storytelling.”
Word is that Warner Horizon plans to shop the series to other outlets so a fourth season may still happen.
Longmire follows the life of a Wyoming county sheriff who’s returned to work following his wife’s demise. With the support of his family and co-workers, he solves cases and works to stay in office. The cast includes Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley, Cassidy Freeman, and Lou Diamond Phillips.

A&E has certainly made a big mistake by cancelling LONGMIRE. One of the best shows on, great casting and locations. At least we can still read the series by Craig Johnson.
Love, love, love the series. Please reconsider and renew it. I had a hard time finding it. Might be part of the low ratings.
Need to find a network worthy of this high quality show.
Why cancel a show when it has great ratings? Not all of us are brain dead and watch reality trash! Keep this show!!
I love Longmire, and I want it to continue. I believe there could still be a lot of great stories.
Shame on A&E for cancelling Longmire! Finally a great show, great writing, great acting, great story line and great scenery — what are they thinking. Will probably be replaced with a hoaky reality show which will be much cheaper to produce. Shame, shame…

DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!! I was turned on to this show of recent and I am a fan!!!!!! Why of why!!! I can’t believe A&E would do this. I’m a Netflix watcher but got back to TV because of this show. Otherwise I would not watch anything on A&E. A coworker recommended and I thought Longmire was the best Sheriff ever! This was awesome. I do hope some other network picks this up…please please please…..lol….Revenge and Scandal are my other two favorite shows so Longmire is in the top 3! That says a lot for me…..#bringitback
