TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
This is one of the few shows that is not offensive and is very entertaining. Can not live without it.
Longmire is a favorite of mine. Who needs another flip this house, housewife or reality nonsense. Another network needs to pick up this great series.
LEAVE LONGMIRE! YOU LEAVE US HANGING SO WE WON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST EPISODE….REALLY??? ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TV! You had good actors, a great story and beautiful scenery. What are you going to replace it with, another stupid reality show….spare us. RENEW LONGMIRE!
Please please bring this show back!!! My husband and I love this show!
Longmire is one of the best show on tv. Please renew !!
this show is great.. a nice change..from the rest..if this show goes..wont be watching your channel anymore..sorry..
KEEP IT! One of the few good shows on TV today. GOOD BYE AAND E!
Best show they had on tv. I don’t watch most of the trash they have on the tv now. More reading I guess.I have all Longmire books. THANKS A&E
If A&E cancels Longmire I think we should all stop watching anything on A&E . It’s one of the best shows on now and we look forward to it. Why cancel something that is as good as it. Maybe they plan on putting on one of those fake shows about mermaids ! Too many people enjoy Longmire and the cast is great as well as the story line. PLEASE save LONGMIRE……
Great show should never be cancelled
KEEP/RENEW LONGMIRE!!!
Longmire is both intense and insightful. My family and I enjoy the pace, characters and story lines. We not only loyally waited for each new episode but watched re-runs faithfully. Please advise how to make my thoughts known to those with power to reverse the cancellation or find a new “home”.
I don’t understand your (the network people) thinking. Like many big businesses now days you get something good that people like and you discontinue it. If you aren’t going to respond to the ratings and people why bother to ask for input. If you were smart business people you would bring the Longmire series back and improve your ratings.
I hope the network re-thinks long and hard about the killing off this show, Longmire is one of the best Cop shows going
My husband and I have been fans of Longmire from the first episode. We’re so disappointed about the cancellation of this well-written, acted, and directed drama.
I liked it so much that now I’m reading the Craig Johnson “Longmire Series” books.
