NBC is giving The Munsters another go. Deadline reports the network is developing another reboot of the classic TV show.
In 2012, NBC ordered a remake of the ’60s sitcom from Bryan Fuller called Mockingbird Lane. However, the show was never picked up. The original series followed a family of monsters and starred Fred Gwynne, Yvonne De Carlo, Al Lewis, Butch Patrick, and Pat Priest. The show ran on CBS from 1964 to 1966.
NBC‘s new Munsters reboot comes from Seth Meyers and Jill Kargman. The re-imagined sitcom will “members of an offbeat family who are determined to stay true to themselves but struggle to fit in in hipster Brooklyn.” Kargman is set to write the pilot and will executive produce alongside Meyers.
What do you think? Are you a fan of The Munsters? Would you watch a reboot?
Oh Definitely YES; I’m Shure Seth Meyers and Jill Kargman will do well with it, I hope to see it, And the setting in where and how it will be done sounds awesome too.
Yes definitely
What, can’t u find newer shows then getting shows from the past. They are never as good as the original.
Be great, as long as it is true to the classic series and not a mockery of it. If they plan to mock it, than do not bother.
I’d like to see it!!
I liked Mockingbird Lane and was disappointed it wasn’t picked up…
