Mythbusters is planning a big marathon for Christmas. Starting December 22, viewers will see every episode featuring Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman.
Science Channel revealed more about the marathon in a press release. Check that out below.
“This holiday season, celebrate with MythBusters as Science Channel airs every episode ever of the iconic series in chronological order. This year’s marathon is bigger than ever, starting with the very first myth – “Jet Assisted Chevy,” which premiered in 2003 – and ending with the latest myths from the new episodes MythBusters. The MythBusters Mega Merry-Thon begins Thursday, December 22 at 12am ET/PT to Wednesday, January 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by an all-new episode of MythBusters at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
With miles of duct tape and all-time favorite myth busting episodes featuring the original hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, along with their beloved build team, the Mythbusters Mega Merry-Thon will include Penny Drop, The Simpsons Special, President’s Challenge featuring President Barack Obama, Diet Coke and Mentos, Star Wars: The Myths Strike Back, James Bond Special, and Bullet Baloney. Closing out the marathon are episodes from the new season of MythBusters with hosts Brian Louden and Jon Lung, which include water-heater torpedoes, the cinematic trope of delayed causality, and a sleeping bag full of flatulence. The marathon will also boast twelve nights of holiday-themed mini-myths from new MythBusters hosts Brian and Jon.
MythBusters made its television debut on Discovery Channel in 2003 and ended its fourteen-year run on the network in 2016. The series earned eight consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Reality Program from 2009-2016. The program fuses scientific method with gleeful curiosity and plain old-fashioned ingenuity to create a signature style of explosive experimentation.”

Been waiting a year since the last one. Bring it on!!!
Hell Yes!!
I love the MythBusters, I really do. It is interesting and we actually get to learn from the tests they do, besides being presented in a fun and intelligent way.
But a MegaMarathon from Dec. 22 to January 3rd…. there is actually is some truth in the saying “too much of a good thing is still too much”.
