Nashville fans, there may still be hope. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cancelled ABC series is being shopped to other networks.
Yesterday, we reported ABC has cancelled the country music drama after four seasons.
The move to another outlet would make sense, as new showrunners Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz had already starting planning season five. Additionally, the show’s producing studio, Lionsgate TV, wrote on Twitter that they are trying to save the show:
#Nashies we are working hard to find a new home for your favorite show! Thank you for your support & keep tweeting #BringBackNashville 🎸🎤💞

The season four finale of Nashville airs on May 25th.
What do you think? Are you a Nashville fan? Do you think the show should continue elsewhere?
YES!!!!
I truly enjoy this show. Please continue with season five!!!
Anyway!!!!! It doesn’t matter as long as it shows up somewhwere!!
I hope that Nashville does come back for a fifth season. There are no other shows like this one and I truly enjoyed watching this show so please keep this show on!
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. I hope it finds a new home
I am so disappointed if Nashville is cancelled. It was my favorite show with great music and acting.
I think Nashville is one of the best programs out there. But as usual, when there is a good show, it gets cancelled. The networks would rather put trashy reality shows on instead! What happened to the good programs that used to be on?
Nashville FOREVER!!!! Great music excellent story lines and it’s realistic.
The musical talent of Nasville is outstanding as well as the stars of the show! It’s a shame that shows with real life controversial issues and real life challenges get cancelled. There is more behind this show than just country music … I hope the producers can find another network to keep this show going!
