NEW YORK, NY –February 2, 2017– A&E Network’s critically-acclaimed original non-fiction crime series “Nightwatch,” from executive producer Dick Wolf, returns for new episodes, set in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday, February 9 at 10 PM ET/PT. The hour-long series follows elite teams of emergency responders as they risk their lives to work the critical and daunting overnight shift in Tampa, the sun baked city by the bay where as many as 850 emergency calls come in every night.
These brand new episodes of “Nightwatch” chronicle the heroic work being done between the hours of 8 PM and 4 AM by the fearless first responders with the police and fire rescue teams in the city of Tampa, Florida. As the rest of the city goes to sleep, these real-life heroes boldly save lives and keep the streets safe. Known for its beaches and prime Sunshine State location, Tampa also has a dark side. In the Tampa Fire Rescue, the stations take on dual roles – they fight fires with brawn and grit, but they also provide meticulous emergency medical care. In the Tampa Police Department, officers on the ROC Squad (Rapid Offender Control) patrol the streets responding to a wide variety of calls such as armed robberies, shootings, stolen cars, and narcotics cases. Above them all, the Tampa Air Service team flies helicopters that give the medical and law enforcement professionals a unique perspective and a huge advantage when lives are on the line.
In the premiere Tampa episode, we meet the brave members of the police and fire rescue departments that risk their lives every night patrolling the city to protect its residents. Police officers Robb and Bethany find themselves in an armed standoff with a suspect who has been holed up in an apartment complex. And fire rescue team Mayville and Stokes must put out a trailer fire that threatens to incinerate the rest of the residential park.
“Nightwatch” is produced by Wolf Reality (“Cold Justice”) and 44 Blue Productions (“Wahlburgers”) for A&E Network. Executive producers for Wolf Reality are Dick Wolf (“Law & Order”-branded series, Chicago Fire/PD/Med/Justice) and Tom Thayer. Executive producer for 44 Blue Productions is Rasha Drachkovitch. Executive producers for A&E Network are Shelly Tatro and Devon Hammonds.

I love this show!! Wish the episodes were as long as Live PD.
Me too @Terri
why wont you go back to new orleans
the tampa bay episodes suck
Please tell me that Nightwatch has not been cancelled permanently. Any kind of live TV is so much better to watch than rehearsed shows with predictable outcomes. You have a good show here, please do not cancel it.
I love Night watch and look forward to it every Thursday. Please renew it for another season. I’m from Tampa and it makes it extra special.
I love Nightwatch series! I hope the show gets picked up for another season!! As a nurse and paramedic, and having a son as a firefighter ; I enjoy this show and look forward to watch it every week!
I retired from being in law enforcement and emergency services most of my adult life. I have to say I absolutely enjoy Nightwatch. I hope you do not cancel it..
I love most cop shows since Cops started over twenty years ago. I preferred Nightwatch NOLA because I liked the people in the cast so much. They seemed to have more personality than the folks on the Tampa version. I am curious about something. Officer Cooper looks very familiar. Was he on a show last year about training new officers? I forget where it was filmed.
I loved Night watching, NOPD. It was my all-time favorite show! The new Tampa series is just like all the other police/rescue shows, only more boring. I am an R.N. & think the NOLA workers are incredibly capable and amazing to watch! Not so much Tampa.
I think Night watch Tampa is great! Keep the episodes coming!!
I love night watch New Orleans…..Tampa is kinda boring.
