It’s official. ABC has announced they’ve cancelled Notorious after one season. Deadline confirmed the cancellation, last night.
The drama revolves around the symbiotic relationship between a charismatic defense attorney (Daniel Sunjata) and a powerhouse TV producer (Piper Perabo) as they attempt to control the media, the justice system, and each other. The cast also includes Kate Jennings Grant, Aimee Teegarden, J. August Richards, Sepideh Moafi, Ryan Guzman, and Kevin Zegers.
While it was never official, Notorious has been considered cancelled for some time. After the series debuted in September, ABC decided to cuts the episode order — not a good sign. Additionally, ratings were never good for the freshman drama.
Over the course of 10 episodes, Notorious averaged .86 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 3.972 million viewers, making it one of ABC’s least-watched and lowest-rated new series for the 2016-2017 season.

Only found this series recently and thought it was very enjoyable, disappointed to learn that there wasn’t a second series.
Man l dnt knw but l think it’s never too late to bring this motivational drama back to us …. l think to most of us it helped us appreciate what we do n love what we do be courageous and face circumstances head on …..you should you really should go for season 2 with these here same guys we loved them and they made it enjoyable and easy to watch as a family…..but the piece was perfect throw it back plzzzz

I thought it was good enough for a second season at least. The threads of various story lines were left SO up in the air. Frustrating to say the least
If people know about this movie, After watching season 1,they will sue whoever is responsible for the cancelation. ABC you are wrong, I repeat you are 120% wrong.

Loved the series. Lots of twists and turns. Dynamic, fast paced story lines. Such a shame it has been cancelled.
I love notorious and I dont Think ABC had made the Right Call here to cancel SEASON 2, in Denmark we hadnt heard anything about the series and i dont Think ABC gave it enough attention or a chance please please please bring us SEASON 2 ..
I loved notorious why was it cancelled? The writing and acting where great and it was on right before how did I get away with murder, so I would think it had enough viewers. Please bring it back loved the show
