Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

it is original with a good and true story and excellent actors and actresses–I don’t care what channel I have to watch season 3 on as long as there is one..
I would happily watch it on another channel.
Outsiders is the BEST show on TV. Myself and millions of other Kuzins would watch where ever we go! GED GED YEAH!!!
I think it is an excellent TV series. I do not understand why they would want to remove it. I will surely look for where and when it will air once again.

I would absolutely watch The Outsiders on another network. Its a great show. Deserves more than 2 seasons! Please, please, please let another network pick it up!!
This is one of my favorite shows currently airing. I’ve been watching it since season 1 episode 1. I have always thought that WGN wasn’t the best fit for this show. I would continue to watch it if another network or streaming site picks it up. Keeping my fingers crossed!
