Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

I would watch Outsiders on any channel. I love that show, it’s one of the few shows that isn’t a remake, Hollywood hasn’t had an original idea in years.
This show was outside the box, and the premise was great.
The cast is good, and I want to see this show back on.
Loved The Outsiders and wish there would be a special third season to show a ending.

this was a great series, with an impressive cast, the network really screwed up in my opinion by cancelling it, would love to see another network pick it up

I just got through watching season 1 & 2 on dvd, I loved it. When is season 3 coming out.
I loved this show. I’m so disappointed that it’s not on anymore. Shouldn’t have been cancelled….PERIOD!!!! Bring it back.

I own the first 2 seasons. I think alot of people were upset to see Asa die. This was the only show worth waching. Very disappointing that it wont have a third season. WGN, not a smart decision on your part. People are still discovery this show and all love it.
