What do you think? Do you like the Perception TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Perception is well written, with great actors that provide entertainment every week. This is one of the few shows that my husband and I watched together. And we do have very opposite tastes. My fav. show is NCIS, and this was my sec. favorite. Could always depend on an interesting show. I hope by recording this like many other people, that I didn’t contribute to it’s cancellation.
Perception was a smart , wonderfully enjoyable show. Guess shows that actually make you think are too much work for todays audiences. What a shame
i think it is really short sighted that TNT has to cancel shows that are intellectually challenging to the watcher. You only want to show trash, blood & guts. You cancel Rizzoli & Isles, I will cease watching your greedy station. Some of us are actually intelligent, & enjoy shows like Perception.
It’s a shame that TNT has to cancel this TV show. It’s one of the few tv series that is both entertaining and worth following.
So at least 72 % of your viewership was favorable toward the show Perception. Most statistics vary because of the kind of sample, the standard error of measure, and other variables 5-7 percent Perception could be close to 80 %. Numbers seldom tell the entire story, and the American public are not ignorant. Please bring Perception and other shows that stimulate imagination, creativity, and emotional intelligence back.
are you sure you took the appropriate measures to find out about season ratings ….with all the people who are writing you about wanting this show it seems as if someone decided to make it look as if ratings went down….this world is famous for doing what it wants to do and pretending to ask the opinion of the public about what they would want …then discarding what the public says in order to place a brain washing show with no meaning in it so it can lull people to sleep and give a little more stupidity subliminally…from all the… Read more »
i don’t think Perception should be canceled!! It’s one of those few clever TV shows that don’t get enough credit!
Not cool!!! I loved “Perception” and “Franklin and Bash”. I watched all of the episodes. It’s not surprising though because of all the junk on television now. Maybe if these shows had a gay or transgender character they would still be around. It’s a sad world we live in when I can’t turn the tv on for my 4 kids without these kinds of shows being advertised (even on different channels). I hope this action gets someone fired. I will certainly watch TNT a lot less now. I would boycott except for “Major Crimes” and “Rizzoli and Isles”. I’m sure… Read more »
I aggree with you totally. Please take it another channel, so we can continue good tv.
I liked Perception..it was different in that it made you think, good story telling, excellent acting. I guess there wasn’t enough gratuitous sex, gore, stupidity, noise to make it ‘appeal to the average viewer’ whoever that is. Also hate most of the reality shows
This was finally a show where the “hero” was truly REAL! The acting and writing were top-notch, Perception was DIFFERENT & UNIQUE, so, of course, you cancel it. Shame on you, TNT, for giving in to the idiots and taking away a series made for those who want some intelligence in their tv viewing! What a major mistake you’ve made!
I find it interesting that each advertisement for the shows that were not cancelled were depicted with the image of a gun, a car, or a beautiful girl, or all of the above. Just goes to show you what sells.
I agree…inspiring and creative. Great cast and well written storyline. I’m with you out there….I can’t take any more reality TV. I guess I’ll be reading this summer. TNT you had good shows. I’ll miss them.
I really liked perception. I know several people with that problem of hallucinations and i was glad to see someone making people aware this is a real disease i just wish the show had been given a chance
I think it’s a real shame that perception was canceled. I don’t watch many shows on commercial TV. Perception was one of the few with interesting story lines and credible characters. I too am very disappointed that TNT chose to cancel the show. I think you’re looking at the wrong audience.
Perception was one of the few shows on TV I can tolerate. Never knew an hallucination from the real deal so it kept me on my toes. Loved the writing and acting. So sad it’s over
Perception and Fairly Legal were shows with class. The characters touched our lives, inspired us, and even made us sad. Some televisions shows run their course. I do not like to judge other television that people choose to watch, but I do not care for reality television. For me TNT was way up in my ratings of stations because they always put something that was worthwhile on. Right now, I would prefer to read or listen to music than watch what is on the tube.
