The cast of Ray Donovan is quite impressive but it remains to be seen if the show’s ratings will be impressive as well. Will Showtime renew this new series for a second season or will it be cancelled instead? We shall see.
Ray Donovan airs on Sunday nights and there are 12 episodes. The large cast includes Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, Paula Malcomson, Kerris Dorsey, Devon Bagby, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Pooch Hall, Elliot Gould, Steven Bauer, and Katherine Moennig.

It was Showtime’s highest-rated series debut in history when the night’s airings are combined. It’ll be interesting to see if the numbers rise or fall in later weeks.

This show is so good!!! My husband and I can not miss one episode!!!! The performances are great but John Voight steals the show!!!!! I can not wait for new episodes!!!! I love it!!! They should make many many more seasons of this show!!!!

Thank you very much, CBS who now owns Showtime, for renewing the best show on pay cable since The Sopranos. Honestly, I didn’t think I would like it, but very smart scripts, an A+ director, an outstanding cast (wonderful to see the very talented but under used Paula Malcomson finally land a part that fits her like a glove). Jon Voight deserves an Emmy for his absolutely psychopathic role of Micky, the father of this clan of damaged people from Boston, but but now living in Beverly Hills (I think). Ray Donovan is one of a handful of must-see show (Dexter, True Blood, Boardwalk,Homeland, The Killing, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Longmire, Supernatural, The Daily Show, and a few others.
To me Ray Donovan is the greatest I am positive that it will compete with HOMELAND ( which I consider extraordinary but the sex appeal on this guy is something to consider. Really sorry I must wait until 2014 but it’s better late than NEVER. Ray Donovan I love you!

Stopped watching after a few episodes. Can do with out, it’s not that great a show.
