How times have changed. Last year, Revolution looked like it was the big hit of the 2012-13 season. Now, NBC has cancelled it, according to TV Guide.
Revolution revolves around the Matheson family and others who live in a world where there is no longer any power. The cast includes Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Zak Orth, David Lyons, JD Pardo, Stephen Collins, and Elizabeth Mitchell.
Following The Voice, Revolution started out very strong last year but the numbers fell as the season progressed. NBC renewed it for a full season off 22 episodes anyway and relocated it to Wednesdays at 8pm. It’s really struggled in that timeslot and this week fell to a 1.2 demo rating with 3.78 million viewers — an all-time low.
Not surprisingly, NBC has decided not to order a third season. There are two installments remaining and they will air on May 14th and May 21st. The final episode of ABC’s Mixology will also air on the latter date.

Good…that show was the only thing that had me tuning into NBC. Now that it is cancelled I won’t watch anything on NBC except sporting events.
I agree with you 100% ………. and I hope that the sporting events that I really lice to watch are broadcat another TV Net-work! This was (IS) a great show with a GREAT story line! BRING it BACK!!!
This was a horrible mistake, the only show I watched on NBC….cant believe they did not give it a shot for more people get hooked….Everyone I know watched this show! Bring it back!!!!

This was one of the greatest shows on tv and they go and take it off! Just great now we are stuck with stupid shows like Dating Naked & reruns of Forinsic Files… Just sucks!!

ANother Example of a GREAT show ruined by EXECUTIVE stupidity! When you have a GREAT show that starts out the gate as a Winner and it DID you don;t WAIT A YEAR to produce the 2nd season you keep it going. People find something else to watch get emotionally invested AS well as Time and don;t go back thinking it’s good enough it will be there later. The Neilsen Rating SYStem is outdated with computers and today’s Technology they should allow US to VOTE on what gets “cancelled” and what doesn’t. let’s CANCEL the Neilsen rating System!!

I can’t believe they canceled it! we watched all the time in suspense. They should have at least did one more season, and ended it, with some sort of ending, instead of leaving us hanging.

I am EXTREAMLY upset… I absolutely loved this series… I actually finally got the guts to watch the last episode about an hour ago… I was holding off wanting them to bring it back but I finally realized they weren’t going to do that…. Very upset they’re not brining this show back. I never missed an episode. I recorded every one and watched in excitement of next show. Someone needs to pick this show back up.
I loved the show and now I am very very disappointing. Really wanted to see how it was going to play out. I hated Wednesdays but still recorded and watched at a later date. Very sad. Hope that someone brings it back
