What do you think? Do you like the Saving Hope TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I am so impressed with this show and that is only after one episode. The acting is tremendous and the concept new. I am a major Michael Shanks fan dude and I’m very happy to see him again in something of this caliber. Bravo! I can’t wait for more!
Saving Hope rocks!!! Can’t wait for more…Erica Durance and Michael Shanks are superb…Daniel Gillies is one hot doc…This show is worth watching,so people get up off your couch and tune into saving hope on thursday nights @9/8 on NBC…
I thought Saving Hope was wonderful. I felt connected to the main characters right away, and can’t wait to learn more about them and their backstories. Erica Durance, Michael Shanks, and Daniel Gillies all were amazing and very believable in their roles, and as so many have said, this was just the pilot, and it was shot long ago. The supporting cast was great as well. Loved how, although there were some heart-wrenching events throughout the show, in the end, most of them gave you a note of “hope” that things were going to work out, which fit with the… Read more »
Saving Hope is a great new medical show with an offbeat premise. I was impressed at the fact that even minor characters were well performed. All of the acting was strong and the romance between Charlie and Alex was beautiful and haunting. Can’t wait to see more! Let’s keep this show on the air.
Saving Hope is powerful show that you just have to ask yourself one question: Whould you just give up on the person you love or would you throw in the towel, now that’s a powerful statement…The cast is amazing….My new thurdsay night obession….I loved and enjoyed it so much that i recorded it and has watched it like 30 times…It’s one hell of a thrill ride…Keep saving hope around and give it a second season,it deserves it…
I really enjoyed “Saving Hope.” The performances were good (loved Durance) and the concept is intriguing. The way the medical cases dovetailed nicely with the character arcs was subtle yet clear enough to generate some pathos. There was heart and humor in the pilot as well. Minor characters like Gavin and Shahir provide additional color and layers to the show. I’ve seen the show compared to other projects like “A Gifted Man” and “Awake.” Frankly, I don’t get it. Having watched both, this show is quite a different animal. And I like it. The themes of science vs. spiritual, head… Read more »
I thought Saving Hope was a wonderful show. The pilot proved that the show has real promise. It was truly a beautiful pilot. The show makes you question love and life. The supernatural twist makes the show unique. It is an out of body experience, much different than the typical ghost everyone first thinks of. I think it is a new creative angle on the medical drama and NBC is such a wonderful network, if they kept up the good work the show will do well. Erica Durance is a stunning actress, Michael Shanks intrigues the viewers, and Daniel Gillies… Read more »
I think the show had a slow start, but I’m going to stick with it. I think the acting was awesome. I’m really interested in knowing more about the characters. I love that I saw minorities and I heard they are going to have a gay couple on the show. So I hope NBC doesn’t get rid of it.
The show has some powerful actors and the emotional scenes are done very well. The story is different and definitely has a potential to become more and more interesting. I’m ready to give it a chance.
I enjoyed the first episode and a new series doesn’t really get going until the 3rd or 4th episode. It was fast-paced and left me wanting more. It was a pilot episode and they may have tried to fit too much in for a 60 minute format, however I expect Saving Hope will find it’s groove and I hope viewers will give it a chance.
I really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to the next episode.
I want to see more! I was not, to be frank, surprised by the ratings. NBC pretty much either didn’t promote Saving Hope and where it did, it promoted it as a medical drama. They should’ve been promoting it as Ghost Whisperer meets ER, because that’s more what it actually is. I adore the cast. I was disappointed by the writing and the medical accuracy (they seriously didn’t even BOTHER!). But it was a PILOT, so hopefully once they’ve settled in, the writing will improve. (I don’t have much hope for the medical accuracy.) I will be watching all of… Read more »
NBC needs to keep Saving Hope!! The acting was great and the story line isn’t just your ordinary med drama. Its much more!! Saving Hope has an awesome group of talent and it showed in the Pilot and will shine in future episodes. Keep Saving Hope!!! Both Michael Shanks and Erica Durance have been on previous long running series for a reason!! Don’t let the Canadians keep this treasure for themselves.
One, I think it’s ridiculous to already be talking about cancellation vs. renewal after ONE episode. Plenty of TV shows that are now considered classics weren’t instant mega hits. Let’s let the series get an episode or even a few episodes under its belt before we start making snap judgments, hmm?
That said, I enjoyed the pilot and I will tune in for more next week.
Saving Hope is a powerful show that send a straight forward message…Do you give up on the one you love or do you just throw in the towel.NBC did not promote the show as well as the CTV did that’s why it had the low ratings…Saving Hope has an outstanding cast and crew…It’s my favorite show on thursday nights…..I loved and enjoy it from start to finish…..POWERFUL!!!
