As anyone who got hooked on the new shows of this season knows, television executives act very quickly these days. One minute the show is on the schedule and being touted as the next best thing — and the next minute it’s gone and never to be heard from again.
The Megan Mullally Show is the first new syndicated show of the 2006 -2007 season to be struck down. The talk show’s ratings were good initially but, despite the musical Mullally’s best efforts, viewership fell off in the past few months.
Megan recently posted a message to her fans on the show’s website:
I want to thank all of you guys for supporting us. Everyone here had an amazing experience and we’re all very proud of the show we created. It was a fantastic experience for me personally. I’d do it all again in a minute! For those of you who loved the show like we did, thank you, thank you, thank you. From me personally and from everyone on the staff and crew who put their hearts and souls into creating good hearted entertainment.
I’ll see you soon, but in the mean time, be yourself, take a chance, be creative. Your uniqueness is what makes you special, so let it come out. And remember: Anything is possible!
Lots of love, Megan
Though the show was flawed and never quite caught on, the series did have some several funny and memorable moments. If you (like most people apparently) missed the show, sit back and relax (in your uncomfortable office chair) and take a look at some of what you missed.

Hey Megan, It sucks that your show got cancelled 🙁 I use to watch it every chance I got [whenever I had a day off from school] It was different to see the real you and not Karen from Will and Grace ! Btw, you are a fantastic singer ! Keep it up ! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED Will and Grace and everytime I flick the channels and it happens to be on, I HAVE to watch it ! It was an amazing show and i’m really sad it’s done ! I’m also very sad that the megan mullaly show isn’t on… Read more »
It seems like everytime I hooked on a tv program, it gets cancelled. The Megan Mullally Show was another one of those shows for me. I was recording Starting Over and hadn’t caught up enough to realize Megan’s show was good entertainment as well. When I went back to record it, the show was already gone. The one good thing that I got out of watching it was that I felt Megan showed us the real her…very sweet, funny, warm heart, and a good singer. I felt I got to know Megan as a real person (Not just an actress… Read more »
