The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I just finished watching The Tomorrow People on Netflix and now I find out there’s no season 2!? So disappointed!!!!
I am extremely upset that you would cancel the tomorrow people. I am 15 and I loved that show and watched it every week and when I couldn’t watch it, I would watch it on the cw app. The only show I ever would watch on cw was the tomorrow people and now that it’s off air, I won’t be watching any cw shows anymore. I hate to see it go, I thought it was a very good show. I was looking forward to season 2, but like it was mentioned before money is everything to the CW. I can see where it would really put the powers to be in the poorhouse for keeping a show on that EVERYONE doesn’t watch. It should at least be released on DVD so we could buy it even if they don’t want to show it on TV. Good job CW it’s only 760,000 viewers, that’s nothing to you.
Bring it back NOW! The only reason it list viewers is because you switched the days and because there was bot as much action in the middle of the season. If you would have a second season it would get the ratings. The next season looked so promising. Could have been good.

would you make a one season show to disappoint fans.
My family have really enjoyed watching the show. We want The Tomorrow People to be continued for another season! This show just had something about it that got our attention when we first started watching, it was just a bit different and unique from anything else out there and that is why we loved it so much.
I am so sick of shows being cancelled. Just as they start getting interesting, you don’t give the shows a chance. The Tomorrow People is a great show and should come back for a second season, give the people a chance to like the show, one season just isn’t enough
I am so angry that they cancelled The Tomorrow People, finally a REALLY WELL MADE show and they freaking cancel it on us. I’m so sick of tv doing this to us viewers. They screw around so much with tv and then wonder why things go wrong. THIS was one of the GREAT shows…..freeking idiots.
