The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

CW messed up by canceling this show! Jus finished season 1 on Netflix and it was a great series. Netflix needs to pick up the rights to this series and keep the story going! Netflix go pick THE TOMORROW PEOPLE UP!!! Hemlock Grove is another Netflix original must see

This is ridiculous, I just finished watching season 1 on Netflix. I thought the series was awesome. And was so looking forward to season 2, only to find out it’s cancelled.

I think the show moved faster than it should have and slower on some points. The story line was a Lil bit all over the place but it definitely had the potential. Supernatural has been successful because the writers for most part stick to the story line and didnt veer off from its roots. At the beginning I didn’t like the show too much but then found myself anticipating the next episode. All in all if the tommorow people slow down and give more depth to the story it will be more successful if it ever does re-air

There is something really wrong with CW they cancelled every ******* good show in there except for some other good they are. But still The Secret Circle, the Tomorrow People, Star-Crossed,The 100, Hart of Dixie, BATB, The Carrie Diaries, The Backpackers, Seed, Famous in 12 and way more… Lets just say I have my reasons, I have watch most of these tv shows. I liked the show. The theme is very good, but the scripts were too corney and illogical. Stephen’s made a lot of abd choices and decisions. Russel and his girl friendm what her name, went to the founder and got themselve tracered, betrayed the group, got Roger killed but got away without evena slightest nag from Cara who supposed to be so strinct? If second second is going to be this corney, might as well cancell it.

This is complete bull **** I just finished season 1 of the tomorrow people and I get screwed over because CW won’t give the show another chance, that’s like canceling the walking dead (the number 1 watched show on AMC) because it lost half of its viewers from one ****** episode. Haters are gonna hate but letting haters win is just fucked up. They should bring back season 2 with a bang, make it perfect so they will triple the amount of viewers they got in season 1.
