Three’s Company aired for eight seasons on ABC before it ended in 1984, and now there are plans to revive the classic sitcom as a movie.
Variety reported that New Line plans to create a movie of the series that starred John Ritter and Suzanne Somers. She departed the series after its fifth season.
Not much is known about the plans for the project, but it was reported that New Line plans to set the film in the 1970s. Robert Cort will produce, and Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein have been hired to write the script.

They should use his son Tyler Ritter. He’s identical to John. Even has his voice.
Who’s supposed to be in the movie besides Jack, Chrissy, and Janet? Is it supposed to be the Ropers or Mr. Furley?
