I think the show has promise. However, I don’t like that its premiere is comparable to Lie to Me, when here we are three years later, and Lie to Me is no where to be seen.

I think it’s a great premise , like “The 4400″ meets “Lost” and throws in a little bit of a cop drama! Sam Neil, Jorge Garcia, and Parminder Nagra are all extraordinary actors, and the rest of the cast all seem to have great chemistry! It’s J.J. Abrahms – I’ve never disliked anything he’s done! Loved “Alias” and “Lost” and I’ll watch “Fringe” until the day the network kills it! I recommend watching it to everyone who has a TV!

With the fast affiliate numbers of episode 5 being 2.2 in the demo with 6.8 million, it’s reached Terra Nova status. It’ll be interesting to see if the numbers hold to about here or pick back up (either next week or when the final numbers for episode 5 come in). I hope it doesn’t get cancelled; I, for one, am still invested in figuring out the mystery. Of course, I was pro-Undercovers as well and look how that turned out. Still, liking Alcatraz more than Undercovers and that’s a start.

Kat ยป With the return of The Voice, the competition just got tougher.

Eek, that would certainly help explain it! The target audiences don’t really overlap, but I can see a lot of people who don’t really feel strongly either way opting for a light-hearted singing competition over the dark and dreary storyline of Alcatraz. Luckily, I don’t watch reality TV.

So far I like Alcatraz and I haven’t seen Sara Jones since she guest starred on a Cold Case episode. If the characters can stick to the story and instead of carrrying around too much baggage as some of the dramas do.

I watched the first few episodes, but it really isn’t much more than a re-vamped “Breakout Kings,” which I also quit watching because I got weary of seeing people victimized week after week. Too little mystery, too much generic violence for me. Off our watch list.

I love it because it is a cross concept something new not just the same old cop show

Well I think it’s official now, it wasn’t a smart move to decide to end House. Terra nova went below their expectation, this show and The Finder isn’t doing so well either. They better hope Touch really takes off.
