Richard Castle will be back next season. Nathan Fillion recently signed a new contract and now ABC has renewed the Castle TV show for an eighth season. (It’s currently unclear if Fillion’s co-star Stana Katic will renew her contract as well.)
On Castle, the relationship of author Richard Castle (Fillion) and Detective Kate Beckett (Katic) is anything but smooth. The rest of the cast includes Jon Huertas, Seamus Dever, Tamala Jones, Molly Quinn, Penny Johnson Jerald, and Susan Sullivan.
The seventh season of Castle has been down by about 15% season-to-season (currently averaging a 1.58 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.47 million viewers) but it’s still the network’s fourth most-watched scripted series.

I don’t watch to much tv due to the out right scenes of blood, sex, and language so Castle is a breath of fresh air. The mystery keeps me on the edge of my seat, the characters tormenting each other makes me laugh, and some of the statements are memorable. The only reason Castle doesn’t get the audience is due to the fact people have not watched it. I am sure if they did they would love it as much as I do. Castle has a good story line,so does Bones. I hope they both stay on TV.
I hope CASTLE doesn’t get canceled. Along with LONGMIRE this is one of my favorites
Big fan of this show and glad it was renewed for season 8 and hope all the original cast is back for it. I’ve been a fan of Nathan Fillion since his Firefly and Serenity acting roles so I’d watch it to see how they manged without Katie assuming she doesn’t sign a new contract..
Best show and writing on TV best chemistry as well since the beginning very few even come close.
This is absolutely the best show on TV. I hope it continues!!! I look forward to many more Castles!!!!!
I love this show and I want the cast to remain the same. I got lost when Kate & Castle were going to be married and someone ran Castle off the road so it seen. I want to know what happened please. I am 80 years old and I need to know & I love this show , I am still looking at the reruns everyday.

solving crime from the past.
Kate & Castle make the show without them you can take Castle off the air, because you have no show. If it has already been said WELL come on writers the public is waiting, give us what we want
